One thing for sure with football is everyone gets proven right as often as they’re proven wrong and it’s still possible Gerrard could make most of us look stupid. Even if we get a decent result against Chelsea, the overall picture wont change. The football is terrible, predictable and boring. The comment of waiting for moments of magic is truly embarrassing. We have no tactical nouse to enable us to break teams down. Critchley, Mcallister, Culshaw, Danks, MacPhee, are also just as culpable. It’s a ****show. We are NOT going to progress, we are NOT going to improve sufficiently. The players look lost, disinterested and devoid of confidence. I honestly think they don’t want Gerrard leading them now. We’re regressing and sleepwalking into another relegation battle. What are we waiting for? I’m frustrated now and we need to act. This is not knee jerk but twelve months of total stagnation. If is an alternative to replacing Gerrard. What do you think of that idea? No wonder Keane always fails as a manager, he really doesn’t have a clue. I don't care if we are shlt but I care when I start disliking watching my club and feeling like the manager and fans aren't together. What is he doing here, imagine the buzz around Villa park if Poch or emery or someone else came in, a shining bit of hope. This has gotten to silly levels already.
