13 years old and winning an Olympic medal, incredible

400 meter hurdles is THE event this year apparently. Sydney McLaughlin crushes the world record and Dalilah Mohammad is under the old record as well. 2 women under 52 seconds.

Femke Bol with a European record as well

France go through to the basketball final winning 90-89 against Slovenia thanks to a Batum blocked shot with 2 seconds to go.

Fantastic hustle by Slovenia and especially Luka Doncic who despite playing with shoulder trouble and picking up a wrist injury early in the 3rd quarter managed to get a triple double with 16 points 10 rebounds and 18 :o assists. He wasn't able to shoot for the whole last quarter but still lead his team. What a player and only 22 y.o.

No but it might have something to do with bieng/staying pretty ?!

Is likely the reason.

I read something that they are comparing women boxing to youth boxing in that they don't hit as hard and that there isn't enough data or research into the effects of helmets vs no helmets in that area.

Might be partially true but think it's more old farts making the calls at top level.

Miss 4 out of 6 penalties, the choke-job of the Swedish ladies is monumental.

And now for a tsunami of hate on social media. Guess it was a good thing that Seger and Asllani missed as they are the most experienced and sadly used to id.

All around awful penalty shoot-out thou. 5 out of 12 penalties scored.

Canada takes the gold by scoring 1 goal in the QF, SF and Final, and that was a penalty. 330 minutes

Greece and Otto Rehhagel would be proud.
