Liverpool and Villa robbed same weekend.

What a bunch of amateurs PL has in charge

So in the Liverpool game the fail to intervene when a clear and obvious error has been done by the ref for the penalty.

In our case they intervene during a non clear and obvious error from the ref.

Wonder if that'll get resinded. Probably won't make much difference as it lost them the game.

I definately think the top teams get officiated differently to the lower teams.

We don't.

PREMIER LEAGUE RULES

13.2 USE OF HANDS
Premier League teams may nominate 1 outfield player that is allowed the use of their hands in the penalty area. This is in additional to the goalkeeper who can also do so.

I found this in the rules and I didn't just make it up. As usual, the refs are 100% correct with every decision they ever make.

Can't appeal a ban due to a second yellow card (other than mistaken identity), so Forest get shafted once by a terrible decision, then again by a completely arbitrary restriction.

None of the rules make sense.

They couldn't review Semenyo's foul on Bailey being a second yellow... but they can review Will Hughes foul against Liverpool because it led to a penalty?

Either you can review fouls that aren't direct penalties/reds, or you can't. They seem to pick and choose random things and it's laughable.

The time has come for VAR to be binned off.

It was meant to be used for clear and obvious errors but when they spend 5 minutes drawing lines for an offside or spending ages reviewing various angles it's clear it's not being used for that anymore. Let's not forget the obvious errors they make regarding the rules and the implementation of them. Or the fact Mike Dean said he didn't send a ref to the monitor because he's his mate and had a rough game and didn't want him to change his initial decision.

Football has never been and never will be perfect. They are still making huge and obvious mistakes with VAR.

Get rid and go back to them actually officiating matches. The whole waiting to see what happens in regards to offsides before flagging really p*sses me off. It could lead to serious injuries even though there's a clear offside.

How many times does it need to be said.

A car drives all over the road and crashes into a house. It's the driver, not the car.

To put it simply, it's the refs being poor, not the VAR, technology that works mint.

It's so frustrating cause to most it looks so easy.

Odengaard bounces the ball out the way of Salah, penalty.

Tottenham play falls over too soft, no foul.

Sheffield United player, moves arm to knock the ball out the way of JJ, penalty.

How hard can it be?????

It could be useful, but the way it's being implemented is completely wank.

The on field refs are scared to do anything, so often don't because they have the comfort blanket of VAR.

The biggest fall down is that the system is being operated by an equally incompetent team of people (as we've heard from the "matey mate mate" sound footage of their first official **** up).

I love the European implementation of offside checking, it's fast and sleek, why can't we have that?

Half of the goals being chalked off because of fouls, like the Everton one today, are nonsense.  It's barely a foul, never mind a clear and obvious mistake by the on field refs.. goal should have stood.

We've seen 2 penalties not given for handball in 24 hours (Baldock and Oodegard).

It's just not fit for purpose and it's actually taking way more out of football than it is currently putting into it.  At least before VAR you could say "well the ref only had one look at it, in real time", now we have 5-10% of an actual game being studied whilst players muscles cool dow, potentially risking more injuries, the crowd fall flat because they don't know whether to celebrate and whatnot and the refs seem even more inculpable than they ever have done.

It's just really shit.

Until they can use it properly, **** it off.

Change the VAR officials so they are not from the ref club. If Europe can get it right why would we walk away from It.......errrr hold on a sec 🤔
