Farlz
Only Lewis could come out of that in 7th and still be in this
OutByEaster? Posted April 18, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 18, 2021 For Bottas, DNF probably looks better on his card than where he looked like he was going to finish would have!

Genie
If you’re gonna prang your wing, best time to do it is just before a safety car and a red flag. Edited April 18, 2021 by Genie

Genie
I hope the cameras catch the follow up between George and Bottas. It looked to me like Bottas came across the track (at 290kph) forcing Russell to touch the wet grass.
Stevo985 Posted April 18, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted April 18, 2021 To me it looks like Bottas was drifting right, probably not seeing Russel, but Russel still had enough space. That one is on Russel in my book
OutByEaster? Posted April 18, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 18, 2021 Were we on board with Raikkonen for the view of that crash from behind. I'd love to have heard his opinion on it!
OutByEaster? Posted April 18, 2021 Moderator Share Posted April 18, 2021 To me it seems like getting out of the car for a bit must just bring on the feeling of exhaustion, mentally and physically, how do you allow your body to relax and then get it back into racing mode after a short stop? Alonso looks incredibly relaxed, like he's just dropped in for a chat and a coffee.

Bottas should have stayed to the left as the much faster car came through. If he had of done, no accident.

I’m not seeing this movement to The right he’s making apart from naturally moving over because he’s on the racing line

Genie
I made a gif of it Be interesting what the stewards make of it, I think Bottas should have more awareness and not move across in front of a much faster car. At the start of the overtake Bottas is on the left white line, at impact he’s come past the middle of the track.
