To be fair, at this early stage it probably is.   The Nations League has been a success though, the fact that there are a lot of narratives coming out of matches is what football should be about really.  This group (A4, they still need to work on catchier names) is totally up for grabs, Germany could get relegated, Luxembourg and Gibraltar are winning games. It's great fun.

So much better than friendlies. It's good for international football as a whole. Will be interesting stories see the next one when you have some good A teams relegated and playing some promoted C teams, I wonder if the gulf in class will start to shrink.

Only expected a point, maybe 2 at a push. Generally pleased with the overall performances though in probably the toughest group.

Happy with what Southgate is doing and even moreso than he's willing to call up players who perform, regardless of their club.

Didn’t watch today, but reports indicate a strong performance. Have to say Southgate deserves credit, thought he was just a yes man. He’s done a good job with this side. Learns from his mistakes, mainly in that a back 3 didn’t work against the better sides and he’s adapted. Bringing through a lot of younger players and playing in form ather favourites.
