the CL has staggered kick off times this season, that spurs v inter game starts at 5.55pm

big game that the media will get excited about but IMO its more because inter milan have had a terrible start to the season (lost at home to parma at the weekend) and spurs have lost the last 2 as well coming across very lazy in last years CL

The commentator in this game is so bad. I swear he's so bad at reading the game. He seems to be like 5 seconds behind the play all the time. Gets really excited about saves which are simple saves. Do like Smith though.

The Bertrand free kick in the last minute that was a very comfortable height and save for the keeper?
"WHAT A SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Not a fan of these early kick offs on a weekday.

I have little interest in this competition but if it pisses off Liverpool or United fans on at least one occasion it will cheer me up :)

Surely it denies a large chunk of the fans from getting to the game.  I guess they don't give a shit, just want the TV money.  Nice free kick from Messi though.

UEFA decision. 2 games a day will be early

its almost like the sponsors think it will maximise the TV coverage ?

in the EL i think with the number of eastern european teams who 2 hours ahead of us then you can make a good excuse for it, when arsenal play qarabag in baku which is 4 hours ahead of us then that i can accept as common sense

the best of it is the likes of Utd force their fans to buy the CL package with their ST
