I can see what you're getting at, but I've got most of that stuff, and I think that Bruckner < Mahler, Holst < RVW and Prokofiev < Shostakovich. No, I was interested in some of the much less-well known stuff you've been mentioning. Joubert? Wellesz? Parry? (I know his choral stuff, but not the symphonies). Joubert is South African but has lived in Moseley since about 1950. RVW's great but Holst, wow, everything from the most obscure vocal piece to The Planets.
