Ingram85
I don't want owners from that part of the world, they just don't understand football and the passion that comes with it having not being brought in the culture. They just don't get it. Atleast Man Citys owners had more sense than cash. There is always a difference between owners who have inherited and those who have built there own empire and really understand the value of money. Wow.
Mantis
It's funny because if they were from one of the Gulf states but had the exact same background everyone would be getting excited. It would seem Lerner looked for a decent buyer - couldn't find one - and is now cutting and running - now we know why he didn't have his meeting in the UK - Jesus wept... Jumping to conclusions much? We don't even know if the story is true. Edited May 16, 2014 by Mantis
P3te
RELAX. IT'S NOT LEGIT OR THERE'D BE HOME AND SPORTS PAGE LINKS TO THE STORY ON THE WEBSITE. AND IT SAYS IT'S FROM REUTERS, WHICH IT ISN'T AS REUTERS IS CARRYING NOTHING OF THE SORT. Now, we chill?

No...Mansour has access to a family fortune believed to be in the region of 1 trillion USD. He definitely doesn't have more sense than cash. Daniel
"James Milner could return to the club as a goodwill gesture" LOL, how many times does Milner's name pop up during transfer windows? It's like someone from one of those ITK twitter accounts wrote it.

Not really, not with that amount of wealth, although you do have a point. If they were american some might have a bit different reaction but it wouldn't be overly positive still imo. Mantis
Provided we were actually willing to pay Premier League wages I don't think £30m would be that bad at all. That's if this is true of course.
