Crumpet
After Benteke's masterclass in how to control a ball on your chest and volley, I thought it would be a good chance to get this thread going. Be it an Angel header, a Dwight Yorke overhead kick, a Tony Daley dribble, which has been the goal that sticks in the memory? El-Reacho
Cahill wasn't being punched in the face while executing his maneuver. Tekkers gets it for me.
romavillan Posted March 3, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted March 3, 2014 I was there Not saying it's technically the best goal, but for the quality of the opposition it's a good goal. It definitely sticks in my memory anyway.
villanz
So many spring to mind, Chris Nicholl V Everton at Old Trafford, Peter Withe against Bayern, Denis Mortimer against Liverpool in the title year but after much changing of my mind Dean Saunders v Ipswich.

dAVe80
Yorke's goal against Sheffield Wednesday, in the 92/93 season, would be my pick. The passing and movement in the build up was mesmerising.
Humanoid
One of the best goals at Villa Park for me is Dean Saunders....
SikhInTrinity
Luc Nillis for me that flick and the angle, he hit it from was sublime. Carbone goal against Leeds and Merson vs Coventry deserves a mention too.
Wainy316
I remember a beaut of a team goal in 4-0 win against Bolton (I think 2008). Wonderful multi pass move finished by Gabby.

handsworthlion
paul merson scored a couple of unbelievable goals in the same game vs watford (managed by graham taylor) about 10/12 years ago, both in front of the holte.

chappy
Best I've seen in the ground personally would be one of the Merson ones mentioned above or Weimann against Stoke a couple of years ago
