Alright, post your favourite/most hated buildings, preferably from your home town (to ensure a good variety rather than everyone posting pictures of the Empire State Building), but not exclusively.

I'll start with two of my favourites.

Belfast City Hospital

Kaiserburg in Nuremberg.  I don't live in Nuremberg any more, but when I did I had a direct view onto this magical place.

Can't help imagining it at night, lit by flaming torches.

A building built in the 1960s which doesn't suck (imo)

I like it, particularly when they had the "all seeing eye" which went round the top.

My fave part of town.  I love the stark contrast of old and new, past & present

New_Street..ar_Park.jpg

I hate New Street Station.  It's what everyone sees when they first get to Birmingham on the train, it's ugly, dark and concrete, unlike the Rotunda, it has absolutely no redeeming features of splashes of architectural style, it's just tedious to look at.

Unlike New Street, I love Moor Street, it feels so quaint, yet you're in the middle of the second largest city.
