spot on mate, I'd rather we added quality and not quantity. Quality 6 month loan players was what I was getting at, pay them enough and they will come. If we survive then regroup in the summer

I gave my ST up 3 years ago. My son is 6, he wanted to support Chelsea like his school buddies but i convinced him to support villa. He's now asking me weekly if we can go! How can I take him to this shit for his first season? If Randy truly wanted to save us he would of paid out, everybody has a price.

No amount of polishing will get these stinking turds to shine. The manager could be anyone and results would be similar. I do think his decisions up to now have proven he's not the man to save us, no point in sacking him now though, that would just add to the comedy that is Aston Villa. Who the hell would want to be his replacement anyway.

we spent money but not on prem quality players, if we had the right guy in charge of that spending and that guy starting the season with us our position would look a lot better. I do agree with you though in terms of the bigger picture, 5 seasons of under spending and bad appointments ultimately lead to where we are now.

for all of sherwoods faults he kept us up last season. the transfers made in the summer are the main reason we are where we are, were those transfers sherwoods or the boards though?

It has been a long running problem that we cannot compete over 90 mins. I remember some stats on this site last season or maybe the season before showing the prem league if games finished after 70 mins or something like that, we were top 6 or 8 I believe?

was about to say similar, I think Sherwood got the bounce because his attitude was the complete opposite to Lamberts, his talk alone lifted the club and fans alike but that can only get you so far.

The current players don't have it in them to fight their way out of this. Did we ever establish the facts on who was responsible for the summer purchases? Was it Tim or the board in control? I am not a gambling man, what odds are the bookies giving on us going down now?

Hi All, is it best to book now for an all inclusive beach holiday for next summer or wait until last minute? We want to go the last week of July. Budget is about £1500 for me, the mrs and 2 kids. We are quite well travelled and we have booked flights and hotels many times before prior to having kids but we have never booked a family package holiday before. All our previous family holidays have been in the UK. Any tips for getting the best deals?

I feel your pain mate, I picked this up last Fri also on PS4. I haven't played fifa since 14 and I have never played FUT before until now. I have found the packs to be a waste of time, I have never purchased one and I wouldn't either, the only packs I have got are ones I have won from doing tournaments etc. I decided to go for an all English team and I buy the players I need off the transfer market. You can get a decent enough team together for not that many coins but it obviously takes longer to get enough coins to buy the very good players.

On the site it says 5+ this season for today but for tomorrow it only says 4+ game booking history - so I wonder if this is 4+ this season and a typo or it is 4+ games in your life?

We were a bit lucky to get the penalty but don't forget the Stoke game where we were unlucky to give away a penalty in the last min - swings and roundabouts. Are there 3 worst teams than us? I am not so sure, we all seem to be having our bad moments and luck is going to play a role somewhere in deciding who goes down. Hopefully we have had all our bad luck for the season. We need to create our own good luck now by forcing the ball into dangerous positions and panicking the opposition.

If anybody needs to score tonight its this guy. His confidence seemed to grow on sat but if he don't get a couple of goals soon it will start to fade again. Does anybody know the lowest amount of goals scored in a season and survived the drop?
