  1. If we give Heskey a new deal I'm going to scream until my head falls off.
  2. DON'T preorder from Game. Already loads of forums clogging up this issue. Amazon haven't clarified properly either. You really have to contact the seller...
  3. I shouldn't think so. Elder Strolls is all about the single player. Why they'd want to feck it up by chucking in a multiplayer I don't know. PS. I hate multiplayer games apart from FIFA.
  4. Watched the first episode of the second series of Boardwalk Empire. It's looking good.
  5. Crysis 2 looks worse than Crysis. It looks worse than Crysis because it had to be scaled back to run on consoles that are 2 generations behind current PC tech. If you install the DX 11 and high res texture pack on Crysis 2 on the pc, it looks amazing. You're also judging it on games now, when any new console is likely 2 years+ away. Do you think that just because the 360 stands up now it still will in 2 years time? By then it'll be another generation behind PC graphics, maybe even 2. Then I'll just settle for the "I won't be able to afford one" argument then.
  6. Yes, I did watch it whilst hungover and drinking tea this morning. Quote that cracked me up... *Dion appears from the clouds* "Oh! Look! It's former Manchester United and Coventry City legend Dion Dublin!" Um...
  7. Watched the Hangover 2 this week. Funny, until midway through when it's revealed the whole plot is....exactly the same as the first film.
  8. Well, Milner, who would have thought it? What I'm trying to say, basically, is "**** you". Enjoy the splinters.
  9. Can see Apple's share price struggling - was a visionary man. When he introduced that iMac in 1998, people thought he'd lost his marbles. RIP mate.
  10. Doesn't make sense to me. GPU and CPU of 360 haven't been completely bollocksed by a game yet. Crysis 2 has already passed the ridiculous graphics test, and Skyrim is the only thing coming out that will test it to the limit. Plus I won't be able to sodding afford one.
  11. Disagree, when she first came onto the scene, she was fit, a fit bit of pure filth/Essex Disagree, apart from the filth bit. Total, total munter.
  12. Saw this in the paper yesterday. Almost boked me guts out
  13. Oh great, NOW he wants a return to English football. Bleh
  14. About to start, I'm certainly late to the party. Completed Mass Effect last night. Little too short, but get the impression the sequel is going to put this injustice right.
  15. £29.86 with fabric map. Not the collectors edition. www.shopto.net - my copy arrives on the day of release, which is pretty nifty
  16. 1) Justice finally served 2) United States of America 1, Italy 0. In the words of the Geordie bloke off Big Brother YOU DECIDE
  17. Mate, I got it preorder for that price. You've just got to search the internets. Comes with a fabric map not a paper one!
  18. 1. Not much. Relegation caused some bad blood, and you lot don't have much time for us either with our unrealistic expectations/moaning all the time, so we give and take some. 2. Overweight, harking on about Newcastle being the best place on the planet, wearing hardly any clothes on a Friday night in January when it's -5 outside 3. None. Aforementioned footballers - arses.
  19. Girls that are into football and games do exist, I can prove it...! Edit: I'm not a girl. God that came out wrong.
  20. What a wonderful world we live in where a man can earn £200,000 a week and even then can't be bothered to get off his arse and play some football.
  21. I spent most of the first half shouting at the tv in the vain hope that the players would hear me. Alas they didn't; my advice of "don't listen to the manager, keep the ball and send it around the midfield" fell on deaf ears. AMC said his style of football would change. It hasn't. We're playing **** awful football, and boring results. Positives: at least we're not losing.
  22. QPR are probably going to do us for this. The 4-0 drubbing they administered after spending a load of dosh and Warnock quickly getting them playing off each other is sadly a big contrast from drawing with a crap Newcastle side and capitulating at home to a Bolton whose league season has yet to start.
  23. Shame that he didn't. He just did a couple of laps, saluted the Holte End and signed some programmes. (see post previous to quoted one for explaination)
