I think we'll be okay this season and really push on next. When we have a fully fit squad, it's not actually too bad. And I've been impressed with what I've seen of PL's pre deadline day purchases, so I trust his eye for a player. I'm also glad that PL has spotted the lack of (current) talent in The Fonz and has decided to ship him out for experience.

I agree with this, unless we are getting in a younger but well experienced Premier League replacement.

TBF, he was very well marked on Saturday, I think possibly helped out by Collins' experience. PL knows where we need to improve though and I expect he will set about improving the link up.

We certainly need a striker who offers different options to our current lot and who offers a decent conversion rate i.e. better than Gabby's, so I'm all for this.

I'm not sure on the relegation front. I do know however PL is determined to make us succeed. Also: Phil McNulty @philmcnulty So @RobbieSavage8 thinks Villa may go down? I actually think they'll do surprisingly well under a fine new manager. Full predictions to come

I have a feeling that Hutton is the first one off and is what's holding up this transfer. I think Collins' future depends on how he performs on this tour.

I sat in lower north under Houllier's era. Was always great atmosphere but facilities are poo. On the flipside, sat in the Holte last season, and it was dead. But I don't expect that it will be the same under PL!
