I never realised Hutton was a winger. I don't think Hutton did either looking by the way he played last night. Collins and Hutton need to be dropped ASAP but that wasn't the only problem last night. AM fielded a completely defensive team that couldn't even hold the ball.

Is Ashley Young injured? Wasn't even on the bench for the England game...

Me too, hopefully we'll get a lower league team in the FA Cup and he starts.

People are being too harsh on him, he's still settling in. He seems to be picking up speed though.

I think Ireland's been given a really hard time. He was picking up momentum in December before getting a nock and then getting dropped by Houllier under pressure. Plus he couldn't fit in a team of the time of 1 striker, Downing, Young and Albrighton. So I'd like to see this kind of formation. -Gabby--Bent--N'Zog- --------Ireland--------- ----Delph---Stan------ Granted it does leave us quite narrow and there would be a lot of pressure on Delph and Stan to prevent attack from the wings, but the Zog is doing a good job of chipping in defensively so I think this could work.

I'm another that completely agrees with this We've not taken anything away from him, players like Young, Milner and Downing got better offers from other clubs so decided to leave. You cannot keep players that want to leave. I agree with this, but you must remember the club have opted not to replace 1 of the quality players/supply line/wingers that left and (in my opinion) could lead to DB leaving in the summer.

When did the kids come good ? - seem to recall us loosing every game when we had the kids in ? man u home 2-2. A real makeshift side that day. Agreed! It was Dunne and Warnock letting us down that day that led to the game ending in a draw. Just hope they can keep up their current form.

Then express your desire to move whilst ensuring you don't submit a formal transfer request else you'll lose your £1m+ loyalty bonus when you're sold!. I personally think Stewie was trying to force Villa's hand to appoint a new manager and in the process attempt to generate some interest for negotiating power on his contract. I think everyone of our players just wants it clarified ASAP.
