I have just done that too. Done everything you do but have had nothing else. Presume all have to wait till Wednesday now until I hear anything more You should get a letter a few days later confirming your reference etc, but that doesn't give much information either. If you're unsure, give them a ring, or drop them an email. I emailed to ask if anything else was required from me and they responded within two hours.

Has anyone used Zebra finance? I signed up, signed the online form, had a letter with my reference on, but that it's it - the Villa website still says my ticket is to be renewed... anyone know if the changes get reflected on the website, or if I need to do anything else with Zebra finance? Cheers

I had a text the other day but that was the first one in a while, not had any calls for about 3 weeks. Renewed mine now though. Will wait and see who's appointed though, like AVFCforever1991 said, if it's someone like Bruce with more of the same next year, it'll be going back.

So (with the players at our disposal presently) something akin to... Albrighton Ireland Herd Holman N'Zogbia Bent You'd have Herd competing in the air and putting in the bulk of the grunt work, with Ireland on occasional mop-up duty but primarily used to retain possession and move the ball around. Give Holman the entirety of the left flank to run up and down (by all accounts he has the engine for it) with N'Zogbia providing movement and an outlet for Ireland and also having enough space on the right to run at defenders. N'Zogbia's forays across and into the right channel could also allow Albrighton to sit back and play crosses in from a bit deeper, alleviating him of the pressure of trying to take on defenders and perhaps allowing him to find his range a bit better and rebuild some of that confidence from his first season. I think that's what would work best, but I'd possibly switch Holman and Albrighton (or maybe have them alternating wings), and include Gabby on the wings. So, Holman Ireland Herd Albrighton N'Zogbia Bent or Albrighton Ireland Herd Gabby N'Zogbia Bent

To be honest, I don't see the current squad as good as some make out. In fact, when it comes to majority of seniors, it's ratshit. One could make the hypothetical argument that the core players we have are so bad that if we didn't have as defensive minded a manager as McLeish we would have lost many of the games we drew and got relegated. Now we're all glad that this horrible experiment is over, but it's only Part 1. Part 2 is getting rid of the detritus that MON accumulated to play his awful brand of football. The worst part is that rather than taking 1 season to transition, we've been through 2 and will go through a 3rd.

Find two decent box to box midfielders, remove the entire current back four (Warnock, Collins, Dunne, Hutton), get 1 more winger, couple of reserve strikers, have a cup of tea, win the league.
