  1. Denzel Washington double header on Sunday. Watched Man On Fire for the first time in about 15 years and it's Tony Scott as hell although a bit heavier than, for example, Unstoppable. What I'd give to have Tony Scott back with us for another Scott/Denzel collaboration. Followed up by my maybe 49th watch of Inside Man which is just great fun. Both on Amazon Prime.
  2. The only thing you need to see the previous movie for is in a filmmaking class on what not to do when you want to make a film. This stands alone and is far far far far far far better
  3. Dungeons and Dragons is very very fun. More practical effects than I was expecting
  4. That episode of Succession was an all-timer. Wow
  5. John Wick 4 was great fun. The Dragons Breath scene was pure joy. As was the Sacré-Cœur steps scene. And the Arc De Triomphe bit.
  6. Watching Crimson Tide (on Disney+) - far from the best film going but Tony Scott and Denzel rarely make an unenjoyable combination. Hackman and Washington both with good chemistry
  7. Verstappen was not letting Perez take that fastest lap point off him was he
  8. Mercedes definitely reported this alleged pitstop violation to the FIA
  9. Mercedes did well with the SC much like the Red Bulls. Ferrari pitting earlier (were they both on softs?) Has screwed both of them
  10. "Lance stop on track" - just as Alonso goes past the pits too
  11. Also they move the walls very slightly in throughout the film, enclosing them all in..... i think the storm breaks when the jury is completely hung and the fan only starts working when the jury is in favour of acquittal. A gloriously shot film.
  12. Re-watched 12 Angry Men after it was called out in here the other day. It might be one of the 5 best films ever made. Everyone in that film is on their A-game. Imagine this being your debut film you directed. Sidney Lumet is directing the hell out of this as well.
  13. I actually enjoyed the most recent episode, thought the first two were very slow. Bad Batch's second to last episode was good although both Crosshair-centric episodes have been good
  14. Devil is definitely more interesting in parts than other Shyamalan films (albeit not strictly his film) but I wouldn't describe it as anything above "fine". It's not as laughably bad as Lady in the Water or The Happening. Not sure if I put in here before (didn't notice it on a quick skim) but I think Top Secret! is very underrated
  15. Get a good QB out of this draft and you're winning this division I reckon.
  16. They wanted to move the business to South Africa but the Rand's too strong
  17. That did just make me remember how farcical Ocon's race was on Saturday. Genuinely should have had Benny Hill music every time it cut to him
  18. I believe its his engine control unit, it was replaced before the race due to an issue then the replacement failed in the race.... meaning he's now on unit number 3. With 1 race done. Impressive even by Ferrari's standards
  19. I'm currently on Mendelssohn's 3rd. Has one of my favourite finales. I will allocate Prokofiev's 5th symphony for "next man up"
  20. We don't need him, don't have the assets to trade or the money to pay him but I'm imagining him and McCaffrey on dual pass catching back plays
  21. Completely missed Sam Darnold signing for us yesterday too hahaha. Well, he's a better backup than Josh Johnson at least. Let's hope he's ready to play in week 13 when Lance and Purdy are out for the season again
  22. I didn't realise McGlinchey had gone to the Broncos. Wish he'd stayed in Conference, Bosa would have got to tee off on him all game
  23. Javon Hargrave in free agency signed. Good move for us, adds a big pass rusher through the middle. Also didn't overpay and keep McGlinchey. Which is good but we need to get an actual RT in in the draft. Just as well Justin Fields can scramble because he'll need to
