  1. Harry Brook is 18% of the way to equalling Ben Stokes' test sixes record. He has batted 9 times so far
  2. Jimmy Anderson is an all-time cricketing great. McGrath and Marshall were more threatening, Steyn burned brighter... but Jimmy has been relentingly consistently excellent and has somehow got more effective as time has gone on. The fact he is approaching Warne's total and could maybe get to Murali's (although unlikely) is absolutely staggering when most pacers can't hack it after being about 32. We are lucky to get to watch him.
  3. And that's all you could ask for. Weren't complaining last time out about the shite refereeing were you, you trashtalking-, cheesesteak-eating pole-climbing freaks get it riiiiiiight up yeeeeeee
  4. Both sets of players and fans have largely been obnoxious after getting favourable calls in the Conference round and i can't in good faith root for either of these teams unless it's against like the Seahawks or the Rams. Chaos is the best case scenario
  5. I have never seen these anywhere. Who does them?
  6. Yeah same I don't think I've ever turned one down when offered. Superb
  7. They taste like someone made a stroopwaffel but much better. Plain hobnobs over Chocolate hobnobs for me but both are elite tier biscuits. I don't go much for dunking more. Too much sodden biscuit at the bottom of the drink Remember having lotus biscoff biscuits dunked in glasses of milk though as a kid
  8. Fingers crossed for a meteorite hitting the stadium. If that can't happen I hope one of the team gets thoroughly **** by the refs.
  9. I was gonna say drink driving is rife anywhere in the rural areas. I've lived in Gloucestershire for 7 years now and spent even more years than that near Tewkesbury and its awful for it but they all do it. Tewkesbury is pretty bland but at least is reasonably charming. Same with Ledbury, Pershore, Evesham etc. Much rather them than Spalding or Wisbech. Or Boston. **** Boston.
  10. All 3 episodes have been excellent so far. Craig Mazin is a genius. Chernobyl bought my trust in him and this is continuing it.
  11. The article above mentioning Jaguar - those Jags were lovely to look at mind you and distinctive on the grid. Can't believe they mounted a diamond on the cars though for Monaco. Predictably the cars crashed and one of the diamonds went missing. Shocker.
  12. The Menu is decent. Not perfect but enjoyable. Some good performances, particularly from Ralph Fiennes, Anya Taylor-Joy and Hong Chau
  13. 4 QBs went down with injury this season. Just really draining to watch injuries derail a season, yet again. Getting very old now
  14. 4th QB injured this season. We're absolutely cursed. Share a division with two teams that have made deals with the devil and then have to watch crippling injury after crippling injury hit every year
  15. Predicting Eagles and Bengals with the Eagles winning in the Superbowl. Eagles don't have the glaring weaknesses of the Niners (pass defence and interior DL and OL) and aren't as hot and cold as the Cowboys. Should at least be a good game. Bengals are probably overall slightly better than KC but KC have Mahomes and Kelce and a much better coach.... but Mahomes is walking wounded, as is Kelce apparently. Eagles by 11, Bengals by 3
  16. I wonder how doped up Mahomes will be against the Bengals...
  17. I can't believe that play call and execution from Prescott and McCarthy. Boneheaded! 2 years in a row. Eagles at the Linc it is then
  18. Worst possible timeslot for me. Home advantage might be the difference for us vs Dallas but they'll be very fired up after last year so if any of the away teams win it'll be them. Bengals not far behind playing at Buffalo but both teams struggled last week so it'll be a one score game there. Blowouts in the other two. Rested Eagles against a familiar opponent. Jags will go down early to the Chiefs but harder to mount a comeback on an Andy Reid-Patrick Mahomes team than a Chargers clownshow led by Brandon Staley. Should be 4 very watchable games. As a pessimist I'll predict: Eagles - Cowboys - Chiefs - Bills
  19. Counting the Cowboys game on Sunday that will mean we've played 5 rivalry games in 6 games (SEA-WAS-LV-ARI-SEA-DAL), with the exception being Washington who haven't been anything other than a fellow NFC team since the 80s
  20. If Vikings had beaten the Giants we play them in the divisional instead of the Cowboys. Cowboys underestimated us last year and paid dearly, don't see that happening this year. Game will be very close. Bills Bengals too. Can't see anything outside blowouts in the other two against rested 1 seeds
