Obviously touched a nerve by opening up this thread! I'm not trying to be overly negative - but, like other people have already said, if theres no takeover, EB as manager, no decent investment, following on from our season of woe....no motivation, negative atmosphere, chaos from top to bottom. We need to consider the possibility of what happens if we are in another dogfight next year and don't have the players to get out?

As someone has started a promotion thread, I feel, unfortunately its necessary to have this as well. If we keep the same owner, playing squad minus are promising starlets, we will be in this situation again. On paper, teams in the championship might look worse than us, but they have one thing that we seem to continually lack. Fight. What are our chances of staying up I the question I'm asking...

by far and away the only choice we have is to get Pearson in. This guy not only executed leicesters promotion, but also the beginning of their survival. It staggers me how all of us on here (well most anyway) agree on similar things, I.e, drop gabby, buy a cb, buy a striker etc. As of yet there has been nothing to say we are definitely on for a cb, despite wild, unconfirmed reports of lescott, no confirmed interest of any strikers and to my knowledge gabby is still starting each week.
