  1. We need 10 points minimum from them too IMO. Tough ask.
  2. He's too polite. He needs to start telling some of 'em to get back in the **** sea.
  3. I'm not seeing many people making him a scapegoat, just some pointing out the bleeding obvious. Good player, let down by a complete lack of awareness during a game.
  4. He (Falcao), would be hilariously shit.
  5. Still more than doable but we need to double our points per game tally, plus make up a little bit of ground lost in the opening 5 games. Tough task even with 41 games left. 2.07 points per game from the remaining would see us on 90 points, which has been enough in 3 out of the past 4 seasons. Hard to say how this one will go in terms of required total, but I think 90 should do it.
  6. Marshall isn't a bad shout TBF. I remember him being quite highly rated a couple of years ago? Cant imagine he'd cost the earth and I reckon most Blackburn players would jump at the chance of getting away from that hell hole. Not JH though, genuinely thought he could be a 'proper player', but turned into a shit Shaun Wright Phillips (which is God level shit when you consider how he turned out!)
  7. He'd be close to double figures now if Ayew stopped playing the game like it was Wembley singles and started actually passing.
  8. Of course the Doc should have a say on who comes in. If I owned the club, you can be damn sure I'd be making the final call, and the only person from VT I would ever listen to would be @Con and his folder of heat maps. The rest of you don't know your Ronaldo's from your Ronald Macdonalds
  9. Yes/No The 'praise' I've seen has come from his work with the British Cycling team and Rocket Ronnie. He worked with plop for one day a week. Gerrard and Sterling were quick to sing his praises, but yeah they bottled the title. I suppose it depends whether his influence helped them get close in the first place.
  10. He's a head doctor, not a miracle worker! No psychologist can undo the 'Woy' effect.
  11. I said a few pages back that this guy is a proper Jekyll/Hyde footballer. Fantastic ball retention, covers a lot of ground and a constant 'threat' coming from wide. Get him 20 yards from goal though and he can't make a decision (not the right one anyway). No end product at all. Baffling and infuriating. Must be a bit of a nightmare to play with.
  12. He wasn't happy with the lack of celebration after Jack scored.
  13. I'd just have him as a squad member on a free, not a main signing. I agree about his record, but as a squad member I think he could be quite effective. At the moment we have nothing on the bench. Get a quality number 9 and AM/wide man, with this guy as back up. Another 'man' with good experience in the squad too.
  14. I said a few days ago, we should use any remained budget to clone that Dr Peters and have one of him for each player. Very effective, if you read the testimonies of the people he's worked with.
  15. He's already made decent headway IMO. The results haven't come.....yet, but the players he's brought in and the way we are dominating teams for periods of time show progress for me. In terms of overall performance, we are a world away from last year. It will take time and the only only thing that will truly eradicate the old culture, is winning games, but another 2 or 3 in and I'm confident things will get going and we will be up there.
  16. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11127607/Premier-League-review-David-De-Geas-mistake-shows-how-much-Manchester-United-goalkeeper-has-improved.html He's given interviews since saying he nearly quit. The goalkeeping coach said his first few months were 'horrendous'. He was far from 'easily amongst the best keepers in the PL' Gollini will be a great keeper for us, just needs a bit more time and support.
  17. I'd get Robson Kanu in on a free to bolster the forward line a bit. Not a top class signing by any means, but Championship experience and better than the options we currently have on the bench.
  18. Totally agree with this. There is a difference between the personal abuse, name calling and the typical stuff you see on Twitter vs actual libellous comments. Although I don't agree with it, if someone in the public eye signs up to Twitter, you have to accept the inevitable from the basket cases on there, but there is always a line. Tony is a deluded word removed Tony is a fraud with no money acting as a front for Samuelson One is abuse and you just block and move on, the other is damaging and libellous. Especially when you get the odd clown saying they have 'sources' or have 'been told by a journo'
  19. Sex wee everywhere after seeing this. If there's anyone on here who has Netflix and hasn't watched the first series of this, your missing the best thing on there. It's Amazing.
  20. Highlight of the whole thing for me, absolutely brilliant! I love how after the one guy strips, the other coach appears to be trying to talk him down, then thinks **** it, I'm having some of this and gets down to his under crackers! The only way this could have been any better, is if the big lad legit body slammed one of the judges through the table The commentator getting all uppity about it, makes it even funnier for me.
  21. Thanks Jonah. Looks real to me too, hence the question becuase it's WWE! is the consensus that Lesnar went off script? All seemed a bit odd at the end, like no one knew what was supposed to happen?
  22. I've just watched this with my lad who absolutely loves WWE and....
