To be fair, whilst they should know better than to be there none of us know the full story? Anything could of happened to start it? What about if some clearings in the woods inside had started taunting them about Petrovs illness or touching their girlfriend/wife? Gamestation was massively profitable when they bought it (200 shops for £84 million) and traded the right way, giving gamers what they wanted and a desire to go into their shops. They promised to keep them separate brands and learn from each other but sacked most of the Gamestation head office staff and moved the few left to the GAME H/O. Slowly the GAME mentality took over the Gamestation from a lot of muppets who didn't know what they were doing and had seen a steep curve in their careers due to riding the wave of the industry boom that was nothing to do with their input. Now the company is worth 20 mill (was 720 shops down to 600 now)

Game are demanding 60 days EOM to help them out. That's a big ask I'm afraid when you can't insure it.

We supply them and my gut instinct is they have had it. The reason EA won't supply them is because you can no longer credit insure them. Gutted because they were good customers and also have very good friends that work there. 6000 people added to the dole list with ripples through the industry closing down some smaller companies that depend on them. Not having a specialist on the high street is bad news all round I'm afraid. :-(

Yes. In terms of value for money, absolutely brilliant lens. It's awesome in low light, very easily carried about, and you'll use it loads. Get one would be my strong recommendation. Thanks Mart. Just read the new copy of FHM and theres a 4 page spread on Bent where he's quoted as saying he's got too much respect for McLeish? Don't know what you want to read into that but it sounds like he gets on with him to me?

My final project of a course has just been short-listed for a competition in Practical Photography magazine. Down to the last 18 out of 500 entries! The prize is a Nikon D7000 kit bundle so I'm very excited and nervous! Personally I don't think my shots will win it but I'll be chuffed if I get into print!

Cheers mate. They don't mean any harm and I know they actually appreciate my stuff as some have had photos off me of their families. I just don't think they realize how much it gets too me and they aren't the sort of blokes you could ask to stop without giving them more piss take ammunition! I described the situation to my wife that it's just like a grown up version of the inbetweeners lol! The thing is that my biggest weakness with photography is my confidence. I'm quite shy to get the camera out and get amongst the action to get the shot so all this piss taking really hurts my already weak point.

I'm no spring chicken myself at 41. I just want to find a group of like minded people that are into photography the same way I am. I have a nightmare with my hobby to be honest. All my mates are very blokey stereotypes and I get no end of piss ripped out of me for being into photography. Any time I'm seen out with my camera I get all the peado jokes, and are you crb checked blah, blah, blah... I know their just joking with the usual crap macho humour but it's starting to really grate on me now to the point where I've considered giving it up.

Nowt wrong with pensioners on the whole, I just want to find a group of people that I can relate to and have an interest in taking similar sort of photos to me rather than churches and flowers. I don't want to hear hundreds of stories about how it was different in the days of film.
