  1. I worked with an American colleague called Ali Bender and her brothers name was Randy!
  2. Not sure what your into but I would say Wet Republic was worth a look! http://wetrepublic.com/photos/140 I'd probably keep my shirt on though! MGM is massive but you wont get lost. When I stayed thee (it was a while ago now) the rooms were nice but a bit 'tired' prefer the Bellagio or Wynn now.
  3. I agree with this and can't believe people are not questioning it more? Sure if it happens it's a great bit of business comparing Downing but it is as if the fact we've sold Young has just been brushed under the carpet? We'll still be one of our top players down from last season?
  4. Perhaps it's all a smoke screen to give us a shit manager so at least we all breathe a sigh of relief that it wasn't Mcleish! Maybe they've been very clever at fabricating this to lower our expectations lol!
  5. Hi General do you remember this video you sent out to season ticket holders: http://youtu.be/ipd7RKGs_Eg I was buzzing that season, we believed it maybe possible again but now when I look it it I see Barry - gone, Milner - gone, - Young - gone, feel good factor....gone. How do you feel about the club now? Has your feel good factor gone or do you think we've fallen away from this chase? What do you think the reason our best players have consistently left each season? Why don't they want to stay here?
  6. 1-0 early on to give them pain all game then with a scum equaliser on the 88th min followed by another on the 89th to let them sing with joy - 1-2, 3 points and safe. Then on the 90th min a Ridgewell own goal making them nervy but still safe with a single point, but then a second Gardener own goal, in off his face causing a nose bleed in injury time sending them down!
  7. I would imagine she is a dab hand with kids. She was one last year!
  8. Do you have to have a kid for them to look after?
  9. You do realize we would of been allowed to play another player don't you?
  10. Why don't you let them all job share? Whilst no.1 gets my vote number 3 would be more grateful?
  11. Yup, I agree about the bells. In fact crank them up louder. Really set the atmosphere. Forget the cheesy song and just play the bells. The fans will soon latch onto the 'anthem' once the bells become a familiar sound.
  12. I'm doing an online course at the moment and need to submit a homework image. The brief was 'find a simple object and use a white or black background, whichever contrasts most with the object you've chosen.....shoot in aperture priority and use exposure compensation' These are my best shots so far but I can't decide which to upload. I think Mario is the better shot but I found black backgrounds quite easy. The white background I found loads harder so pleased with my achievement with the headphones. Which do you all think?
  13. Thats Elmo in that onion!!
  14. Some recent shots from my trip to NYC. Really enjoyed taking these, still have a lot to learn though!
  15. We always stay in the London NYC hotel. Great hotel. Going out on Friday for a few days.
  16. Would of thought that was really uncomfortable for him considering what you spend 99% of your time looking at!
  17. Have two and hate the fecking things! Can't wait for em to die but they keep hanging in there to piss me off! Dogs are way better. Have a Boxer and love her to bits! Best thing I've ever bought!
  18. Bulletstorm Gears 3 Dragon Age 2 Uncharted 3 Arkham City
  19. Wow mate, your a fast learner! Can you give me some tips now!
  20. Cheers mate! The early stuff is straight out the camera pretty much but the later stuff I use picassa which is a brilliant piece of google software. Very easy to use and free to download here: http://picasa.google.com I've also recently 'acquired' a copy of adobe lightroom 3 which is a bit more complicated but a fantastic piece of software for improving photos! With the low light/no flash situation just up your ISO when in A mode. This will make your shutter speed faster. For family shots like your first blip your camera should handle an ISO of 1600/2000/2500 easy without much noise and will make your picture sharper. If you read a lot my data on blip I shoot loads in the house at 3200! Also read up on the rule of 3rds for composition here - . This is a basic rule that can be broken but for starters it improved my photography loads once I started using it! http://www.digital-photography-school.com/rule-of-thirds
  21. No I haven't. I keep toying with the idea as I know I could get better pictures but I just would feel really anal about taking one out with me. My biggest challenge since I have took it up is confidence with the camera. I have had so much piss ripped out of me from mates for getting into it atripod would push them over the edge! Even around strangers I have ruined shots by rushing them just because I'm not confident enough to take my time and just take the shot without worrying what other people think!
  22. Oh yeah the other things that massively improved my pictures is try not to use the crappy pop up flash unless you need fill light. Always try to use natural light even at low levels. Just up your ISO. Learn the rule of thirds for composition.
