Can we have the star in between Aston Villa ? ASTON * VILLA. Maybe it will look less busy doing it this way. If you did this on the middle left design then the top of the shield would be a straight line and look more uniform.

Great that he has finally got this new contract sorted. He is the leader of our forwards and Emery is a fan. He can keep finding the back of the net now his future is sorted !

Injuries to a couple of key players have made it difficult for Unai. He is also being let down by poor performances from players who are being given games. Unai is a hard task master and he won't want those players to remain at the club if there performances don't match his standards.

This has all been an embarrassment for the club really. Just stick with the old badge and concentrate our focus on villa park redevelopment, decent kit manufacture and increasing revenue.

We had a very good transfer window but it just feels like we needed one more attacker. The selling of Archer, Ramsey and Philogene gave the impression we would use that money to bring in a premier league ready player but we didn't. Now loaning out Coutinho gets his wages off our books too without a replacement. There's no doubt that we have great owners and a great manager but you could be mistaken thinking that our spending might have just been tightened a little. I guess the next couple of transfer windows will tell us !

I think this will be his last season with us. Our squad has improved and I feel that Bailey will be left behind before the end of the season. He's just too hot and cold for the direction we are heading.

It's been a pretty frantic start to the season. Overseas tour, Monchi joining, Injuries (some major), European qualifying and the ins and outs of the Transfer window. This International break might be just what we need and give a chance for everything to settle. Also give Unai more time with the squad and our new players without the pressure of a game to play.

I think Emery just needs to tweak our tactics against the better teams. We are still not consistently as good as these teams !

Selling Coutinho might be just to help with wages for Lenglet. The 75% we are paying is still a decent amount I think ?

I desperately want to see some COUTINHO magic this season. Yes he is past his best but the name COUTINHO is still a massive name in football. A season of a fit COUTINHO would really get the fans buzzing. One can only dream ...................

He has had a bit of an interrupted start to his villa career so far with injuries, new country, new league, change of manager. Just needs a run of games early this season.
