  1. Poor Scott. Hopefully they’ll let him watch the match for free.
  2. Was he actually dropped or pulled out injured? It’ll be very odd to be dropped half way through.
  3. I really don’t see the problem, owners own the club, which includes stadium. Or owners own subsidiary company that owns stadium. They have done this to help us as a paper exercise. It’s not like they’ve sold the ground to an entirely separate entity.
  4. He played for our U23’s last on 28 October, so he hadn’t left as such. Not sure what his contract position is though, as no new contract was announced and his was due to expire last season. A slightly odd one, perhaps he has been on a short term deal while he finds a new club?
  5. Brazil Twitter is talking about Wesley now after his short debut. Mainly ‘who is he?’.. Although sounds as though he did well in the 5 minutes he played.
  6. Interesting given as he seems to be 4th choice. Although with Steer out and Heaton not having a great injury record the last year or so, I don’t think we’ll sell him in January now. Maybe he’ll get a chance in the cups.
  7. I know but he’s not anywhere near as bad as some people like to make out.
  8. Trezeguet was just the most popular vote for man of the match in the Wolves game.. He is always very positive and very direct, players like that will always be hit or miss during a match by nature. I would rather that than players who hide or take the easy option. I think he’ll get better and will be a good player for us.
  9. You might be thinking of Juanfran. Not sure if he was involved with scouting Luiz.
  10. Nah, they are the same person, like Katie Price and Jordan. Or Dean and Smith. (Or even Douglas and Luiz to stay on topic).
  11. I have more than a hunch that he’s a top professional, as shown by 90% of his performances for us. Even Smith remarked recently that he likes the quiet life away from the pitch. Not all Scots are like Ross MacCormack.
  12. I think the noises coming out before the Liverpool game are Smith not wanting to show his hand to our opponents. He went onto say Grealish was still feeling pain and wouldn’t play unless he was 100% fit. He also said he was yet to train as of Fridays press conference.
  13. Not correct. He failed a fitness test before Liverpool as Smith said after that game, which is why he didn’t play.
  14. Fully agree, I’d like to see him get a chance as he carries a goal threat. Not sure who misses out though, so glad I’m not the manager.
  15. No need for panic, as poor as we were in the 1st half today, we lost by one goal away to a team who are highly rated by pundits. Last home game we were 5 minutes away from beating the Champions of Europe, both with our best player out injured.. We are fully capable of beating half the teams in this league and we’ll be fine and will also strengthen in January.
  16. Decent game, he’s always been excellent with his feet and a good shot stopper, just prone to the odd howler..
  17. Haters gonna hate. He’s one of our better players today. Good goal.
  18. Playing much better now, no real goal threat though..
  19. Can’t underestimate the affect losing Grealish has with retaining the ball and drawing fouls, especially in games like this. Huge miss.
  20. Shame we’ve been forced into early subs but then looking at bench, not many game changers in there. Lansbury maybe?
  21. He was injured in the warm up of their previous match. Although who knows if he’ll make their squad when fit. Their new manager may prefer a striker that does something.
  22. No, fixtures don’t work like that. It’ll be Liverpool away/Man U home, so one tough, one very easy.
