I believe that we will win a minimum of 10-12 league games before the end of the season. The rest I’m not sure on but overall 10-12 wins.

Exactly! The high line worked as intended but we couldn’t finish the chances. Baileys chances were very presentable but he missed the effin ball. Grrr

If we just need to get our name out there surely a sex tape involving Wes, Nassef and Kim Kardashian will have the desired effect. Felix for a £1million a game is ridiculously ludicrous talk. Just continuing with the current upward trajectory and finishing top 8-10 is enough instead of paying that much for a good player but will probably need 6-8 months acclimatising to the premier league.

I agree entirely. I don’t even think Coutinho should be competition for him as I think Coutinho would be better as the second striker in this part of his career. For me it’s between Buendia, McGinn, Ramsey, Bailey and Ashley Young’s son for the wide positions and between Watkins, Coutinho, Ings and Bailey (I know I mentioned him before) for the CF positions.

I think people need to start watching the off the ball stuff. Too many are saying Buendia was poor first half but his defending was very good as was McGinn on the other side. They allowed Watkins , Bailey , Kamara and Luiz protect the central areas comfortably. This allowed Mings to stick to the cheating elbowing scumbag Kane like a fly on shit - he didn’t even touch the ball for 20 minutes. They cut off so many passing lanes and sent them down blind alleys it was wonderful to watch and hear the depressing tones in Don Goodmans voice!

I complained about him when itv had Champions League and he was taken off for the last few years of their coverage. One of the most biased nobs I have heard in favour of the sky 6.

I was very happy that we got him as I felt his mentality alone will help us. I love his shithousing on the pitch.

Whilst it didn’t click for him today he still had moments where he looked dangerous and caused some trouble for their defence. A 6/10 performance I’d say.

I’m someone who has criticised McGinn often and it’s because of his love of hitting aimlessly hopeless Hollywood balls but he has cut these out under Emery and has been better off the ball too. There’s still the odd ‘wtf was that‘ moments in games from him but overall much improved. So credit where it’s due.

In the first half his defensive work was key. He didn’t effect the game with the ball but he didn’t do anything wrong either maybe the odd loose pass. In the second half he tore spurs a new proverbial. The pass for Ollie when he (Ollie) took a second too long was sublime.

We beat these cretins not long ago with Dean Smith as manager. . But ‘twas a fantastic victory.

The sequence from 53 seconds to about a minute is the difference he has made. Normally Villa players have tried a lofted pass forwards from that position and lose the ball but Kamara calmly opens the game up for us by playing a simple 5 yard pass to a teammate and then follows it up with another simple pass taking out 3 Spurs players resulting in a dangerous opportunity for us.
