For me it’s about the number of victories we get in the remaining 19 games and I think 10 wins is possible but finishing 9-12th is a good achievement in preparation for next season.

I think most of that is correct but I think cash would be more along the DM’s line as Emery prefers one of the FB’s to be defensive.

Was about to post taking 3 players on and a simple pass would have resulted in us being through but he tried taking another man on but 30 seconds later we scored because of his good play. The more he simplifies his game the deadlier he’ll become .

This is it the fans need to buy in too. Misplaced passes or a missed tackle are often meant with a loud audible groan and quickly followed by berating. The fans have to see the bigger picture and support the team for the full 90 minutes. I like attacking the Holte in the first half too.

Even though it looked nervy we had the majority of possession last night. However I felt like we played too slowly at the back and dithered a bit too much. Kamara and Luiz should (imo) have the majority of touches for us in most games. The second half we quickened it up and we had 5v 5 against them in the middle third of the pitch quite a few times but we didn’t get the right pass or movement although we created decent chances but could have created more opportunities for us to kill the game. The spirit and tenacity was good throughout the game and hopefully we can continue to build and improve. Don Unai gets it right again.

Defensively he was very good all game in the first half he didn’t really see much of the ball but he got more of it in the second half and he helped us retake the initiative and scored a very good goal.

Very good run from Digne for the goal too. The bit of play at the end of the first half though where he sent the whole stadium that way and went the other way was magic.

Looked tired after about 20 minutes and I was ready to give him some mouth to mouth to get him going again. such a beautiful man.

Just needed another 27 pre seasons with his players coming in. Emery is on another 100 levels .

Class and the way he was trolling mini 50 cent when we had about 5 throw ins in the corner was funny as hell. Love him and I loved the fact that he re-signed for us. He deserves to choose if he continues with us.

His distribution wasn’t the best today but defensively he made 5 tackles and 4 interceptions with 2 key passes. Oliver is a bellend though.

We started well enough but then I thought they were stronger than us for about 30 minutes. The second half was more even and we shaded it especially when we scored our second. Buendia and Moreno both grew into the game.
