On Danny Ings yes. @Czarnikjak did a detailed explanation in the ffp thread. @OutByEaster? @CVByrne and @paul514 have explained it well in that thread as well other threads too. If I’ve missed anyone else who has explained it I apologise.

We have made a ffp profit on Danny Ings . That’s all that matters now not the old buy for £2 sell for £1 and it’s a loss. Buy for £2 sell for £1 3 years into his 4 year contract is actually a profit for us to buy shiny new player. 50p profit if my limited maths skills are correct.

We made a FFP profit. Some of the more knowledgeable guys have explained it to death in the ffp thread , the transfer thread in fact nearly every thread.

So Don Unai’s version of the ‘Bomb Squad’ is get the player some minutes hopefully they score and then sell them on whilst being totally respectful and keeping them involved (except Guilbert obviously). what a man!

Unfortunately we’re not Chelsea they can command the price they do because of their status. We’re still recovering from years of mismanagement and the spell in the championship. We need to start regularly finishing top 10 and winning the odd cup for us to get more money for players that haven’t played for us. Like the top 3/4 are seemingly able to do.

Maybe lyric was right () about us being low on funds but Emery wants to bring in some of his style of players now rather than the summer so we are selling probably our most saleable asset that isn’t Kamara, Luiz , Emi1 etc and then brings in a few younger guys that he can mould and work with (saw your posted tweet in transfer thread). We probably will spend bigger in the summer. Selling Ings now might help with that.
