  1. McNeil's crossing is something that we consistently lack. We currently have wingers who are better inverted so crosses would always go towards the keeper. Having someone who crosses the ball away from the keeper would add another bow to our attacking moves. He wouldn't be my first choice but it's a "makes sense" type of signing if we get him.
  2. I'd go for Saka. Maitland - Niles too. These two cover about 8 positions between them.
  3. Nothing but love for him cracking professional solid enough performer for us had a few downs but plenty of ups too. Definitely will be a top coach. Thank you Habibi!!!
  4. Wish him all the best. As Tyrone says a great man. And these great men are what lift the squad and youngsters. Hopefully he will finish his career well and then become a top coach / manager. Thank you Neil.
  5. He's a decent crosser of the ball and gives us a more direct down the line type option. I think we'd get a few goals from crosses coming in at least.
  6. People think the Brummies are pessimistic!??? us Yam Yams (Walsall) have them beat. Even when it's sunny we complain!
  7. Maybe they can do a deal with the council that after the commonwealth games are completed Nswe take over ownership or parts of it?
  8. Is he the one that has a sledgehammer of a shot??
  9. Totally agree with this. Nakamba has played well every time he has been selected this season. Too many people remember last season's performances and can't see past those performances. His passing has improved and he does what most other DM's do - give it to the better players. Hause, AEG, Trezeguet etc are all current bench options and have done better than expected. AEG had to play because Jack was injured he's a first choice reserve who gets into good goalscorer positions. People expecting 5/6 expensive signings are going to be really disappointed. We'll make 3 permanent and 1 possibly on loan. £60m total net. It's not sustainable to keep spending £100m-£125m if you're not making huge amounts of money.
  10. We could do with a Bruno Fernandes ( I genuinely dislike him) type signing in terms of impact, influence and in terms of raising the standards of the club and other players around him. Doesn't have to be a big money signing it can even be a freebie. A guy who just wants to win all the time.
  11. Said it a few months ago that we can't keep spending lots of money as it's not sustainable. Seems like the noises coming out of Villa are along those lines.
  12. I hope they lose and miss all the penalties they get. Hopefully he continues scoring so he goes to the world cup instead.
  13. "Successful pressures" time to whip Daffy out....
  14. That's top 7 then not top 6. I just don't think we're good enough to maintain a challenge against those clubs. We're probably about 3 seasons of consolidation away.
  15. Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester, Tottenham are next season's top 7. We'll be fighting with Everton, West Ham, and Leeds for 8th.
  16. £20m for Soumare tells me that Bamba or Ikone could be bought for similar amounts. Bargain!
  17. After Ashley Preece's tweet I'm guessing a cool billion million.
  18. We're not competing for top 4. Top 8 is a realistic challenge. And a cup.
  19. Hence why I wear ear muffs in my 8 a side games lol.
