  1. Come on the guys just lost a final hardly gonna be like Bruce Forsyth and say good game good game is he?
  2. Walker and Trippier are essentially the same player. Walker is just faster. Madness.
  3. Re A) what @Zatman said. And as for 'b)' I was talking about the striker position.
  4. I think the point @Kiwivillan is making is that we won't be spending big money to sign essentially a 'back up' striker as - A) it's expensive and we need to strengthen elsewhere first. b) no one is going to want to sit on our bench if we spend lots on the likes of Tammy Abraham or equivalent. Personally I think a loan for a Mcgoldrick type signing would be a decent short term back up. My neighbour Kemar Roofe (his mum and baby's mother live on my street) again as a short term back up might be useful. I've mentioned these two as they are good at pressing from the front. I'm sure there's others out there but can't think off the top of my head. On loan btw. Yes that's a loan not permanent. When we're in Europe that's when more expensive strikers as competition for Ollie would be more viable for us.
  5. The way Foden wriggles away from tight situations is majical. The way Jack glides past players is also majical. If Parsnip nose doesn't play both I'm nicking his waistcoat.
  6. Definitely not. As you say he 'bumped' 'bounced' it in.
  7. His goals have their own competition.
  8. If AEG did nothing in between scoring goals he'd actually have no goals. The goals he scores when the ball comes from the opposite wing happen because of his movement. Matt Targett gets alot of joy down the wing because of AEG's movement. If AEG literally did nothing Matt Targett doesn't get that joy and space. He also defends better than Traore on the other side (not perfect) you just have to look at the distances between both wide players mentioned and their full backs. Yes AEG goes to sleep sometimes but his defending has improved big time. Plot twist. AEG is currently a reserve player for us who had to play due to an injury to an elite world class footballer.
  9. Messi on a free. There's the cock of all cocks in footballing terms.
  10. I always thought Bouma was a much better centre back than a FB. Luke Young was solid at left back when asked. Alan Wright definitely was good for us. I still remember Les Ferdinand back post about to nod it in and Alan Wright out of nowhere outleaps him.
  11. He's priceless to us. However with all the talk of £100m I wanted to correct the actual market value.
  12. £100m for Jack is a bargain. We'd be stupid to let him go for that. £200m is his current price. He's an elite footballer.
  13. It was Robinho initially. It sent shockwaves through the football world. There is one way we can get more moolah. Adidas - isn't Nassef Sawiris on the board or a 5/6% shareholder? I'm sure there's some creative accounting there. Edit - in response to the post you quoted by me. It's gotta be a Robinho esque signing. As much as I don't like that, to get more sponsorship deals and become attractive commercially we might have to do it. We'll break the top 6 once maybe twice if we continue on our current strategy. But to stay there we need to compete financially in terms of revenue. We need to get into the conversation of title contenders every season. Otherwise it'll be £20m - £30m commercial deals instead of the £75m +.
  14. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be bringing in half of that anytime soon. We're not attractive commercially.
  15. Presenter nearly dropped the f bomb too lmfao
  16. Grrr we gotta win this to get level with Chelsea again. rocket polishers the lot of them. Hahaha Pep.
  17. The 6ft 7inch Colossus N'Golo Kante was head and shoulders above every one else.
  18. Signing both Buendia and McNeil would be great business imo.
  19. I don't think we should sign him because of his hamstring injury last season. For speedsters hamstring injuries rarely go away.
