    Not a single reputable journo has mentioned this. Surely, Percy would be all over this if it was going ahead. Surely regular Villa journos would be hearing about this before Jim White. The Sun and The Mail *online* articles are exactly the same, pure clickbait and Talksport are generating huge swathes social engagement from it. Still not convinced this isn't total pie in the sky stuff yet.

    Does anyone genuinely believe Grealish could leave before he's had chance to play in front of a full Villa Park again? It just doesn't seem like something he would even entertain.

    I've got more than a couple of mates who are Spurs fans... I'm having the time of my life at the moment. Hopefully they'll get a call into Southgate after the euros so the pain continues indefinitely.

    I'm okay with this, I think we need a few more experienced heads in and around the squad. He's versatile and offers a little bit of depth in more than one area if needed. Probably a smart move, especially with the view that he'll be replaced with one of the youth players stepping up to the squad 12 months from now.

    Pretty fair assessment. A little disappointed how the season ended, but overall happy with the progress we've made.

    Dive on a Cactus is probably more appropriate (couldn't find a gif of someone diving on a Cactus, which is pretty disappointing).

    Should have added... He's been decent for us in terms of where we were to getting to where we want. On his day he's a match winner, jury's still out but he's defo been better than only 1 good game in 4 or 5.

    Just had a look through the games, 5 good games all season is a little harsh. He's started 28 games, I reckon he's had 6 top quality games, 8 decent games, 6 really poor games the rest average at best. Been involved in some really important wins, and 6 goals/6 assists in the league is a decent return. Especially compared to some of players other teams have signed for £££s more.

    Dunno man. 8 goals/6 Assists, some match winners/key assists in there. He's defo inconsistent but I don't think he's been ordinary, some of his goals have been beautiful.

    A fit, confident Barkley is a real asset, with Jack, Ollie it's no surprise why we were so good up until his injury. Good to see a strong performance from him.
