  1. Yeah but they also weren't looking for el ghazi. They kept trying to play each other in.
  2. Depends whether you classify sterling as midfielder or not but aside from him his only real competition is madison and I think grealish is better although I'm sure some of the foxes fans will disagree.
  3. Tap him up. Gift his dad a season ticket. Although we could get done for tampering or something of the sort. Like Liverpool did with van djik. Personally I suspect Hull would accept an offer of 10 mil + kodjia. It will give them some money to play with plus a proven championship striker who could probably bag 6 or 7 goals from Jan to the end of the season. Would be good for us as well because kodjia is out of contract in the summer and we would be getting something for him.
  4. He doesn't pace himself and is exhausted by 65 minutes. And then continues for the next 30. Of course he is gasses. He has played every minute for us and has played most of Scotland minutes as well. If he doesn't get injured (likely) he will start picking up more and more bookings like he did at this point last year. If that happens he could very easily end up suspended for key games against Watford, Newcastle and southhampton at the end of the year.
  5. Where is VAR on the boards. 3very other stadium shows it around the ground so everyone knows what is going on. Without it we don't know if the ref is checking with VAR or if we are getting ready to kick off. Really needs to be fixed. Aside from that the clocks for game time should really include the injury time surely it can't be that hard to just have someone reset the clock to 45 at half time.
  6. Before Mondays game Anwar had 2 goals and 3 assists and Trez had 2 goals and an assist. I think kodjia would probably have 3 goals but wouldn't have contributed to our goals as much as trez or el ghazi have.
  7. I think yaya toure would certainly be a quality choice or Henry. However I think I have to go with prime suarez. Best player since Henry and I think would work better with our team.
  8. I would love it if we could get both bowen and grant. I reckon if we send kodjia back with one of them and cover some of his wages we could get them for a steal. Both bowen and Grant look like they could make us so dangerous. Apparently they both need to work on their defensive work rate a bit but since both of them can play up front and out wide it means we could have one of them and el ghazi or trez on the bench and we could change it loads of different ways. Plus both if them are banging in goals for fun at the minute so at least one of them should be pretty successful in the prem. I'd imagine to sign both of them it might cost 15-20 million plus kodjia and we could loan keinan to Huddersfield as well. Could be a win-win-win situation for us.
  9. 4 goals in 14 is a reasonable amount. No one in the bottom half the league will score more than 15 goals. Let's face it wesley is no callum Wilson or josh King. Wes will finish on around 12 with 4 or 5 assists. That is pretty good for where we will finish in the table.
  10. The problem in that scenario is after you have taken players on the ball often isn't in the best position for a strike or you are off balance so it would have probably required an extra touch to get a good finish by that point one of the Liverpool defenders probably would have tackled him.
  11. El ghazi did slide on his knees he just couldn't get there. The ball needed a run to the front or the back post El Ghazi was trying to connect with the ball at the closest point to the goal. If say mcginn had made a run to the backpost it is an easy tap in finish. Dont get me wrong the ball was a good cross but our players didn't really gamble no one got a roos to the front post no one was at the back post so we wasted a good opportunity. Hopefully we learn from that and in the future our attackers will be more aggressive with their runs in the box.
  12. People don't want grealish to sign for a top 6 club because he is too good for that. He needs to sign for a Madrid or Barcelona. He could learn from the best at what he does and then be the best at it after Messi retires.
  13. He hadn't had a single shot. Targett's ball was a little to far away for him and that can't be considered as missing a sitter. I remember him missing 2 sitters against Norwich and one against brighton but aside from that I don't remember him missing any good chances. And 2 of those missed sitters were awkward bounces from volleys with 2 or 3 players in the way. He should have scored more against Newcastle but to me that is down to mcginn and grealish not releasing the ball into him earlier.
  14. Hardly they have no clue with any of our players except hourihane.
  15. To be fair veretout was actually alright. Didn't he get like 5 assists in one of the most poorly constructed teams in the premier league.
  16. Whoopsies misremembered. I think bree cost us around 1 mil which may be why I thought Connor cost 2.5
  17. Disagree mcginn has been running himself into the ground, Jack got hit on his shins which he has had problems with, Luiz had started getting lax and Wesley seemed to have little puff. I think it would have made sense for wesley for trez with el ghazi going up front (although Dean probably wanted him to score), mcginn for Lansbury and nakamba for Luiz. If we kept wes on trez for grealish. I think we need to think about load management and our players aren't super durable so if one of them had to come off injured last night I would personally blame Dean for not making the subs earlier.
  18. No he is the drill sergeant. Grealish is the general. Gets everyone playing together and makes us a lot more effective. Mings gets players to knuckle down and focus.
  19. One moment in the second half there was a similar moment like wolves 2nd goal with maximin. Luiz clearly learned from that incident as he bodied him out of play.
  20. As countless athletes have said you have to tune out the crowd otherwise it distracts you. He needs the call from his teammates and not the fans.
  21. Adama traore looked faster to me but I was watching on TV compared to live so it may affect how I view it.
  22. Hourihane should have done better with the pass. It was over hit but wasn't that badly. That was his only real error and again everyone makes errors Luiz lost the ball twice in dangerous positions, konsa's slice mings large touches etc. Should be piling on wes for a mistake which resulted in nothing and was 6 of one half a dozen of the other.
  23. I did tell you why I though the post was stupid. I'm sorry if you were offended by it but to me it read as you were once again scapegoating el ghazi after a good game
  24. It wasn't a misplaced pass hourihane miscontrolled (?) it. The pass was a bit over hit but he found his man. We need a new striker to offer something different but not to replace wesley. He has been continually getting better with this being his best game since Norwich. He missed a bit of a sitter but it was good keeping and 9/10 that exact shot goes in. The criticism on here is never justified it is just he Is shit. Never he made a bad mistake this is what happened and what he should have done. So the rest of the fans who have watched the game and seen all the good things he did get really annoyed because you are hounding him without justification. He was good today and we shouldn't be expecting wesley to score 20 goals the only players who do that are Kane, aguero, Salah, mane, vardy and auba. Callum Wilson scored 14 goals last year and was the best scorer outside the top 6 so don't have a go at wesley when he is currently on track for 12 goals.
  25. I'd say 6 games Everton, Brighton, Norwich, arsenal, Newcastle and maybe Liverpool as his energy was good but didn't have much to work with.
