I made my decision after watching Wesley stroll around for half a season. What would 'Sir Ron' have said to him would have made an interesting listen.

Out.....
be lucky to get a total 12 million tops for these cast offs. Not every club pays silly money for bang ordinary players....

P.S. throw Wesley in as well, there's another 3 million to the total......
The jury isn't out for this guy, he's shite and we know it. Yet another nail in Smiths coffin for playing him for so long.

P.S. Smith admited in todays 'Times' that he wasn't fit enough.....
The thing is Steve is that young players have to be mentally tough to survive in a professional football club environment . If they are not then they are in the wrong profession. As others have said , it's not tiddlywinks.

There is absolutely no point in keeping a 20 year old on the books if he isn't knocking on the 1st team door by that age. They will have had a professional contract for the last 4 years and all the coaching that goes with it. There is little or no further development to look forward to. Tough ,I know, but true.

Not surprised you picked Drinkwater, any logical reason for picking a player so far off the pace? Perhaps you could slip Wesley onto the bench ?

By all means quote me if you like but make it accurate. I would not use a phrase like 'dipshit', that's just a figment of your imagination.....

Personally, I see Drinkwater as a 55 year old Ashley Westwood.

PS.
and if you think all I do is moan, then please see my post on Samatta , this is a player who can justify his inclusion in the team......
I don't mind your sarcasm ( the lowest form of wit ) but if you have an opinion on Drinkwater inclusion in the team I would be interested to hear it.

We did have short periods of control against a very poor Spurs side. Mainly that was due to Jack doing the work of two men. Drinkwater is just downright poor and shouldn't be selected. You are right about our defence though, truly shockingly bad, as proved by our goals against tally.

Some good points raised Nigel . Can't agree with your last sentence though. Nothing is 'pre destined'. If we go down then it will mean that we have not been good enough and that the 146 million spent in the summer was wasted.
