Yes, but that was last year.....This year he has been found out to have little or no, recruitment or coaching ability. My analysis is isn't a personal attack on Dean who always comes across as a particularly nice bloke. Unfortunately being ' a nice bloke' doesn't count for much in football succes. See Sir Alex and 'old big gob', for examples for ruthless achievers.....

Hello, are you saying Dean deserved an extended contract at that time or are you just talking nonsense again? You will be calling for aLerner and Lamberk to be installed next......

It is a difficult proposition to imagine who this board might pick. They are the ones who gave Dean a contract extension after winning one game.....There is no doubting their business acumen but it is obvious that they haven't got a clue regarding running a successful football club.....I suppose they will get fed up with failure soon and disappear like Lerner did ( eventually). It would appear that finding the right owners is just as difficult as finding the 'right manager'. Regards, VLD.

I admire your optimism. However our current form ( last 6 matches ) leave s us bottom of the league. Our performances are just awful at the moment with even a genius like Jack unable to lift us. We are going down unless we change direction. Now is the perfect time to make the change. Dean is a likeable chap but is clearly out of his depth in the premier league. Unfortunately points aren't awarded for being ' a nice bloke'. ATB VLD.

Thanks for the memories Dean. Time to move on with a new direction at the club. Suso must leave as well. The league is suspended and will not play again for months in my opinion. The new man will have ample time with the players to move things forward. Sad to say that Corona virus might just save our club. The board must act now. VLD.

Sorry but I disagree. We play it short at the moment and lose possession almost immediately. Smith himself has agreed that this is a major fault with our play, ( but has been unable to improve our possession and passing statistics, which are the worst in the league I believe. ). It is lunacy to ask our players to play a passing/ possession game when it is obvious they cannot do it. If I have repeated my points in my previous post then I apologise but as I said, it is simple to understand if you think about where we are at the moment. ATB. VLD.

Simples...play two strikers and hit it long to them ( a la Leicester). Please don't say this is too simple. We are not good enough to do anything else and it will take the pressure off our woeful defence. Regards, VLD.

We bought a complete 'new' defence to ensure we would be better.....We aren't. VLD.

How much did Norwich spend in the summer? A fraction of what we did. They knew it would be tough for them to stay up. £ We spent 146 million to ENSURE we stayed up. Unfortunately 138 million of this was wasted on players who look out of their depth. You couldn't make it up. Regards, VLD.

Oh, does that mean we are doing okay and everything is good? Frankly ,having such low quality expectations for YOUR club is embarrassing if you don't mind me saying so. Many on here seem to have forgotten that we were the second highest spenders in the Premier in the Summer. That money was spent to ensure we stayed up. We won't , and that is failure in my book.. Well he isn't young for a start. And you don't pay 22 million for a player who....can't run, pass, head the ball or shoot accurately at goal. Mind you he is exceptional at falling over a lot..... ATB. VLD.
