  1. Why don't you write a letter that is both diplomatic and tactful but clearly outlines that you are deserving of a greater remuneration for the service you offer. When my sister was front of shop assistant at a retail store, she wrote such a letter explaining what she felt she was contributing to the company. She was polite but also direct and assertive in asking the company owners if they felt the current setup was paying credit where it's due essentially. She got a 15k per year salary boost effective immediately. Not long after she was promoted to National Manager of the business. Just recently she was offered part ownership in one of the stores. You don't have to threaten resignation or be underhanded, but you sure don't have to suffer in silence either.
  2. I interpret a homophobic gesture as meaning clearly expressing and directing derogatory remarks, probably using explicit language, toward someone who you wish to offend. Example, when someone says something thoughtful, kind or heartwarming to you, you might say in return, "that's a lovely gesture". I assume the word gesture is in that context.
  3. I'm not going to name drop on this occasion, but no Robbie was a Neighbours actress. Hahahaha I've watched enough of the show to know Alf and his favourite line, "You flamin' mongrel!"
  4. Nearly! 'Home and Away' is the other terrible neighbourhood soap opera drama, her role in that is what landed her in some movies and on the acting scene.
  5. This advice is getting engraved on a plaque and then it's going straight to the trophy room.
  6. I don't know, I reckon we could even go higher. Bucks and Philly are the only two I see who will take top seeds. Brooklyn should but you never know. If we remain injury free, and Coby steps up, we have every chance of actually becoming a force to be reckoned with in the East. Markonnen was not only a stretch 5 but a point-center for us, our main man. With LaVine and Coby in the guard spots, we could have a similar system to Portland. Not really all that similar, but essentially a center and two guards as the focal point on offense. They just fed Kanter in the paint, let him go to work, and then dished it to the guards on the perimeter. All he did, aside from grabbing boards. Markonnen is way better than Kanter. Lillard and McCallum are better than Coby and LaVine, sure. But we'll see, if Coby continues hitting 20ppg and LaVine does the same. Then on avg of ppg we outdo that Blazers trio.
  7. Scored myself a date with a celebrity actress in a month from now. We first met in 2012 and spent the year flirting with each other, but it never progressed.. A mutual friend told me she was keen on me back then but I was too busy being insecure. I haven't seen her since, but recently decided to check in with her and we got chatting and I asked her out, when she's back in town. So now I need some advice, do I wear underwear as a headpiece to try and disguise the fact I'm really a dickhead.. Or do I let my true colours shine and wear them on the outside of my trousers, showing how much of a maverick trend-setter I can be?
  8. I'll be at Rainbow Serpent 2020. My partying days are over but this is one I have to experience.
  9. What I am I eating for breakfast, the chicken or the egg?
  10. In other news I couldn't help myself and I bought an Antetokounmpo Greek national team jersey. It's like the UEFA Euro's in 2004 all over again.
  11. Coby White averaged over 19ppg this preseason. White, Markonnen and LaVine might just be enough to see the Bulls play post-season.
  12. Started with Brighton able to execute passing sequences and build up at leisure. Aside from Grealish, no one was doing much on the ball either for us. Lackluster from us, and fortunately we didn't encounter anything brilliant from Brighton. Their goal was in tune with the momentum of the game. Want to see more initiative and urgency from us without the ball against City. Start like we did against Brighton in our next game and I doubt we'll walk away with 3 points.
  13. Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane are the only English forwards or midfielders I'm putting on the team sheet before him.
  14. Would like to help but a quick search didn't return much. Didn't feel like watching the match? Highlights will pop up shortly I'm sure.
  15. After a poor start the game was ours for the taking for the remaining hour of play. And we took it! Grealish is immense and is the finest player I have seen wear the shirt. Undoubtedly MOTM and a class above. We did it ladies and gents!! We are now up to 11th on the league table and we now look forward to some tough tests.
  16. Referee needs to give a yellow when a yellow is due. Whether Grealish or not.
  17. Quite average up until the sending off, except for Grealish, he's been good throughout. Game is all us now.
  18. I didn't even know this was a thing in football these days. Absolutely robbed. Why are we even paying referees then?
  19. I don't know why we're allowing Brighton to keep the ball so leisurely. 0-1 down as a consequence.
  20. We've written an invitation to Brighton to have as much build up as they please, delivered to them on a silver platter. Grealish has been good but we need to get in to the game and create some chances, even some possesssion would be welcome.
  21. @rjw63 DBUTWU!! (B for Brighton) UTV! I'll be watching. Waking up the whole house no doubt!
