    Whether people rate him or not, and I think we are in 2 camps. I think we can all agree he is not a cdm. I would rate my own tackling as tougher.

    Nice reasoned argument. McGinn and hourihane scored the same, hourihane had more assists despite playing 800 minutes less.

    I've nothing against McGinn, but the blind tolerance of McGinn despite his performances compared to the refusal to accept what Hourihane brings confuses me. This isnt a hourihane vs mcginn, debate but mcginn hasn't been overly effective in the Premier league either.

    Just bland criticism with nothing to back it up. Better stats than McGinn in Championship Better stats than McGinn in Premier league But McGinn is God and Hourihane is a lower level championship player. The only horrific thing is your reluctance to look at the facts.

    It seems that SJM is always excused, Hourihane is never excused, that's by both management and fans. Hourihane was much more effective last night but gets subbed. I can understand why hes peed off. Last season mcginn played 800 minutes more than hourihane. Hourihane scored the same number of goals had and 2 more assists. I'm not suggesting he should be a first choice starter, but the odd mcginn wonder goal shouldn't guarantee him a starting place either. I really like both of them btw.

    This is what we need to do. We're so hung up on being loyal, due to the lescott McCormack etc players. We hang onto bang average far too long. Doesnt mean that they're not good blokes, but that's not a reason to keep them

    Tammy is a really good player. If we got a chance we should sign him. To me its ano brainer.

    Think it's ironic that a manager who as a player got his caps with villa and boro, and managed boro thinks its essential to play for a "big" club. If he applied it to himself he wouldn't be where he is now. I dont think he'll pick grealish to encourage him to move. He has no love for villa despite us turning him from a mediocre midfielder into an international.

    It's weird, I watched him the other day, and he did remind me of Kodjia, having said that I've watched him once. That isnt due diligence for a 30 m striker on my behalf.
