  1. Instead, she just married one. Disclaimer: I do not know TRO's auntie or uncle. I'm sure that they are perfectly nice people.
  2. One of those things could be in some countries homosexuals are prosecuted for being gay or in extreme cases sentenced to death. I brought it up becasue I stumbled upon the page on twitter a few days back, and had previously read somewhere that the clubs that already have a presence in the area, (Man U, Liverpool et al) don't share such posts on those regional twitter accounts for fear of a backlash. See also Arsenal and their silence on Özil's comments criticising China regarding the Uighurs.
  3. So Southgate is responsible for his addiciton to sleeping pills as well? What a complete and utter bastard.
  4. It is a tricky one. I get the desire to expand in to untapped markets but I don't think that there is anything ethical about it. Will you support campaigns for equality in regions where equality is severely lacking?
  5. It's about what the club can do though. I also think it is a bit disingenuous from the club to support such campaigns in the UK while not mentioning it on the arabian twitter page. Maybe they already plan to. They have taken a stance on the knee and I support that. They can probably do less about the selling of weapons I'd imagine. Regarding some would say what I wrote is Islamophobic, I would ask the exact same if the club had a Hungarian twitter page (a country that is mostly catholic - which I also am). In fact I would probably have a stronger opinion considering the law that they just passed yesterday. I am talking basic human rights for everyone regardless of whether it's Riyadh or Rotherham.
  6. Really? Southgate has probably told him because Jack asked him where he needed to improve. If he hadn't told him then maybe that would suggested a vendetta. https://www.firstpost.com/sports/euro-2020-jack-grealish-sought-manager-gareth-southgate-advice-to-make-the-grade-with-england-9702711.html Jack Grealish believes a heart-to-heart with England manager Gareth Southgate at the start of the season was the inspiration he needed to seal a place in the Three Lions' squad for Euro 2020. The Aston Villa captain has shone in the Premier League this season, sparking rumours he could be set for a big money move to champions Manchester City. Southgate had initially appeared reticent to calling up Grealish, delaying his international debut until September. But the 25-year-old revealed he had an hour-long meeting with the England boss during that first camp to explain how to take his game to the next level. "He's the manager of England so he's obviously going to be a brilliant coach. He's helped my game massively," Grealish said on Wednesday. "At the start of the season I said to him 'what can I improve'. I'm not going to go into too much detail as what we spoke about, but he gave me a few things to work on to try and force my way into the team. I think it's worked, because obviously I've had seven (England) games since."
  7. I much rather when Jack is playing games. When he isn't, it's either because the manager has a personal vendetta against him or he is addicted to whores, sleeping pills and crack. Jack has said himself that there is no issue between him and Southgate. Southgate has said there is no issue between them. At the same time, on here we've got posts that belong on QAnon. Southgate decided Sterling was better suited to play against Croatia and his decision was vindicated. Sterling got the winner. There is no evidence of an issue. Just like there was no evidence for the addiction to drugs and hookers. Well the drugs anyway.
  8. I've noticed that the club have an arabian twitter page. I believe it is very new (only a few months old). Will this page also be used to promote equality campaigns such e.g. rainbow laces when the PL is doing it or will there be no mention of such campaigns on the arabian twitter page?
  9. Here's a quick guide to help you out. Nursey Percy
  10. Tool. He might. He's a very good leader and definitely a positive influence around the place and I wouldn't really consider this season where Klopp for some reason decided to play him CB and Liverpool were in general just horrendous. In a 26 man squad with doubts over his fitness he'd be in my squad and if he is fully fit I'd be considering starting him in some sort of a setup.
  11. So according to him Jack shouldn't be playing because he could potentially not be fit but Henderson should be playing although he could potentially not be fit?
  12. Did anybody ask Danny how many games Henderson has played in the last few months?
  13. Documentary about a club, the detail of which is largely controlled by the club, paints a player having problems with the club in a bad light. Not saying he is an angel or that I'd take him but I wouldn't pay much heed to what is presented in those documentaries.
  14. I listened to half of that yesterday and now you've ruined the ending.
  15. Too right. Great to see employees getting rewarded for performing well.
  16. That'll throw him under the bus should things start to go wrong for the team is the last thing he needs
  17. I wasn’t referring to the dismantling of the team as a whole as losing those two players. That happened over a period of time longer than one year. Anyway, enjoy your lunch.
  18. Well two of them, Kante and Drinkwater. I just looked it up, Mahrez did two seasons after (I thought that he went the summer after). That's still 2 out of the 5 outstanding players in the team within a year and IMO the most important. The other regulars such as Morgan/Huth were also being replaced or phased out slowly. Vardy and Schmeichel are the only two from that team who are still regualrs when fit.
  19. The reason that I support Villa.
