  1. Evans will go for £3m (clause) if/when relegated. With the wages and signing on fee he could get at that price his motivation mightn't be the highest.
  2. Shane Long's confidence nosedived completely when we got relegated.
  3. Lescott was last man back but lost out to Long when he had a 10 yard head start. Richards strolled back from the centre circle a minute later.
  4. Chester - £15m minimum, is very good and would be hard to replace Taylor - Would let him go for £2m. Hutton - Free, contract is up, if we are still in the championship next year I'd offer him another year on small wages. Whelan - Free, his wages are too high to make him worthwhile. Jedinak - Free, his wages are too high to make him worthwhile. Hourihane - £6m, he is useful and not too old could do a job in the PL if used accordingly. Adomah - £8m, having a good season but can be replaced for less than that and is not that young. Green - Not for sale yet. Will take £50m in 2 years time. Davis - £2m plus a sell on clause, might become an average league 1 striker, might be better. Grealish - £25m if sold now, could be worth at least double that if he fulfills potential at some stage. Kodjia - £8m, injuries have devalued him a lot. Thes opinions might look silly in the future.
  5. Heavily linked with Scunthorpe the other day, one of the top prospects in the LOI, would be available for a low 6 figure sum I reckon as Limerick are pretty much bust. Pretty much a wide forward so would be behind Adomah, Snodgrass and Green straight away but he has potential.
  6. He has until the end of the season now pretty much which is fair.
  7. It took years for Cristiano Ronaldo to score a goal with his head, once he started he became world class.
  8. I know it is a nice story and all but why do so many rich people insist on buying deformed dogs that can't breath properly.
  9. Worth taking a chance with value players especially coming from lower leagues where they can't demand the same sort of wages. For example it was reported that we paid £3m & £40k a week on Lansbury, we could easily sign 4 similar lever players from the lower leagues, Scotland or the League of Ireland for a fraction of that and wages of less than £10k a week. Not all of them would be a success granted but it makes more sense when building a squad for(and to get out of) the Championship.
  10. Yeah that is what I thought myself, if the club had say £500k to spend they could get him now but Rangers will probably be favourites to get him in the summer.
  11. He was signed as a DM to replace Kante but wasn't very good so ended up providing cover to Danny Simpson who himself is not exactly a brilliant RB. He is not really that good.
  12. Yet he has looked a seriously good prospect at underage international level and comes across as being a proper pro. It might take time for him to develop physically.
  13. Suliman came on for a few minutes at the end of the Wigan game I think.
  14. A well executed sideline cut definitely does more than a golf swing anyway.
  15. They might sack him as he is a poor player. Will get signed by Oldham in the end.
  16. The last two performances from Elphick should secure his place in the squad until the summer at least. McCormack and RDL are probably the main candidates for moving on. Getting rid of Richards will be impossible at this stage, I wonder if there is any sort of insurance policy on footballers who need to be written off like him.
  17. I don't recall ever seeing him being part of a team that scored 5 goals in a game before.
  18. Whelan getting sick has helped a lot too. A bit like the luck of stumbling on Davis earlier in the season. He has plenty of time now and a performance like this is a great platform to build on so hopefully the form continues.
  19. How long since we hammered a team like this. Sunderland in 2013 is the last I can remember.
  20. Mark Hughes is finished at Stoke now, not a bad manager but he needed to cheer up a bit. His constant miserable demeanor can not be good for squad morale.
