I do want to believe in survival and the board not being complete numpties but my optimism guage is currently set at 'glass doesn't come into it, pass me the bottle'. Hopefully a few more days like today bring back the optimist in me.

That Leicester result was unexpected. I moved Fuchs to my bench and lost his 28 points!

Garde walking might be more likely but I currently have zero faith in our board. I can see them making a decision that makes zero sense, for instance signing not a single player this past window.

I wouldn't be surprised by the board doing anything right now. I'm happy we got another win but I am still bothered by the board restricting finances in the transfer window.

I have a horrid feeling that we will be relegated in 18th place. Garde will mount a brave fightback but it will not be enough, we will go down on goal difference or by a point or two and we would have been safe if we had bought a striker in January. This board then fire Garde or he walks as they refuse to back him and we plummet into oblivion. Sorry, I'd love to believe but I'm not quite there yet.

It's ridiculous that part of the decision is based upon transfer fee and wages. Not only does this favour the bigger clubs but negates trying to find a bargain.

Never been to Thailand but from what I've heard I wouldn't be suprised if they had a 'spirts club'.

Hopefully this is not a premonition for next season. I have a save in 2023 and Villa just got relegated to the Championship for the second time. I'm tempted to take them over but I've just been given a huge transfer budget to play with.

Who is to say he does? Maybe he does and I genuinely hope he does. Show me him doing something generally decent and I will applaud him for it, but I will not applaud him going on a date.

I think it's more the frustration that we have had a run of bad penalty decisions recently. None of ours have been given and we have had some debatable ones given against us.

The poor guy had to spend an hour or two talking to a pretty girl, I'm sure he didn't have any ulterior motives. The amount of disrespect he has shown the club and its fans (not just in levels of performance but via social media), it is will take a lot more then this to forgive him. When he does something meaningful like a decent charity donation or something that benefits a large amount of the fan base let me know. Maybe Lerner or Fox should take a pretty girl out to dinner if that is all it takes.
