    Used the FT to get Watkins in just before lunchtime today. Very nearly went for Laca so expect him to do well. I took a - 4 to get Martinelli in so hoping he does well.

    Yeah, watched it in Sweden when I lived there and knew the Yanks. Think there's only about 2000 players in America so being internationals isn't very impressive, they still get to go to the World Cup though. I used to rugby and have even done front row but Id have no desire to be a bandy keeper, as that's nuts.

    You could probably count on one hand the number of people on this site who know what bandy is. I bizarrely know quite a few of the past/present US national team.

    Every time we see the brother in law he drops off some toys for our son, always his older sons cast offs which usually were his toys from the 80s. Had various He-Man, Thunderbirds, Turtles stuff. I tell him that's lovely but theyre worth money but he doesn't seem to care.

    No idea if it's true but heard rumours he left as he encouraged Jack to leave and it was made clear that wasn't appreciated by the club.

    Similar boat to me. Discworld is utterly fantastic and my favourite subject. I'm gutted I didn't go up and talk to Pratchett when I saw him at Manchester Airport. Then probably a tie between MCU and Tolkien.

    I've decided to roll the dice on Vardy and wait on bringing Antonio in for a week. I did ditch Johnson for Cash though as we have great fixtures coming up and Dalot is an adequate cheap defence enabler. Just hoping he's not one of the ones who has covid.

    It’s certainly more random this year and issues are coming thick and fast. Tripling up is a risk but not doing so is no guarantee either. I have 6 players out from 6 different teams this week. I was planning to swap Vardy for Antonio but really not sure now. Arsenal's defence is doing fantastically (Ramsdale has better PPM than Martinez did last season) and there's a chance Vardy (if he plays) could do very well against a covid hit Spurs. Thinking 2 FTs might be very handy next week.
