  1. I take it back, I'm getting to annoyed watching this!
  2. What does playing in the prem have to do with anything? Dunno if you have noticed but we was relegated a while ago
  3. Dean Smith is another one I like, I just feel with the cowley brothers it would be a completely different approach to what we are used to seeing. I also don't think we should be turning our nose up and up and coming potential managers just because they come from Lincoln, we've been crap for years and can't exactly be the most appealing of clubs no more with all the restraints we will soon have. Knowing us though we will end up with pardew.
  4. Heckingbottom is the worst suggestion I'm yet to see, I'd rather zola. I'm a fan of keeping Bruce but if we were to fail In promotion and he was to leave I think we'd be looking at a few years rebuilding and looking at promotion so I wouldn't mind Danny cowley of Lincoln and his brother coming in and giving it a shot rather than another old tried and tested manager.
  5. Totally agree. Don't think we've finished above 10th since about 2010 so to be sat 4th place at this stage of the season is not something I will complain about especially with the potential of another trip to Wembley.
  6. Maybe exaggerated but still, look at how everyone was loving Bruce when we was on our good run, the second anything goes wrong we start slating again. Bruce can still achieve promotion yet all we see is fans wanting him out.
  7. Some of these suggestions are already rediculous, rafa benitez, one of the top managers in Europe. Sean dyche on verge of taking Burnley to Europe. I like the idea of Dean Smith but I don't see why he'd take this job, huge expectations and fans will be calling for pep guadiola to replace you after 7 games if you haven't won the league already.
  8. Well I suppose he could but it would be absolutely ludicrous for us to offer him the job.
  9. I'm playing on xbox, think I've played over 800 games and won about 10 times. I've never been so bad at a game and enjoyed it so much!
  10. Wasn't he arsenal's number 9 at one point, never understood that one!
  11. Best game I've played in a long time, so addictive. Anyone else play? Even more fun on squads.
  12. They also should of had a penalty at 3 1, still a great result but not as convincing as it actually sounds!
  13. Finishing outside top two you could possibly consider a failure but if we get promoted its irrelevant. I do fancy our chances In the play offs but I was thinking last time Bruce took Hull up they played Wednesday in the final and their performance was similar to our recent ones, dead flat, boring, unmotivated. if it wasn't for diames wonder goal and the fact Wednesday we're awful they would have got hammered!
  14. You don't know that at all. You could quite easily say another manager would have us below 4th. His task is to get us up, I still think we will do it.
  15. It's amazing how quick people's opinions can change. We don't do ourselves any favours by hyping him up so much, he's decent and got potential but half the stuff he does is pointless. He'll dribble past 3 whilst going backwards rather than just pass it back out wide. His shooting is also terrible. Hopefully he gets himself back to what we know he can do because today was absolutely shocking!
  16. Don't understand how we have gone this bad. Cant even complete 5 yard passes at the minute!
  17. Totally agree with you. We should have had a couple, Dawson has been fantastic for them but I imagine we will score a couple this second half.
  18. That record is terrible no matter what excuses you use. He has 34 assists in those 300+ apps so even when you use the excuse about him playing out wide it still shows how useless he was. I don't get how a man who has stolen 60k a week for past 5 years can still have people defend him. Good riddance as far I'm concerned. .
  19. 74 goals in 322 games is an awful record. i cannot wait for him to leave this club, even when he was at his best he was only ever a slightly above average striker who had blistering pace but he was in a fantastic squad which made him look better than he actually was.
  20. I disagree, this job is an extremely tough one. keeping on top of FFP whilst having players like richards and gabby draining over 100k a week between them, on the back of 6 seasons of pure crap. Massive expectations which is usually hard enough on it's own but we also have one of the most fickle fan bases in the country which can make villa park toxic at times. it's the biggest club hes been out but probably his hardest job hes had so no way should he feel grateful and lucky everyday to be here.
