  1. Gutted he will be going but you can't blame, especially to a club like spurs. At least we can look forward to seeing him in an England shirt...
  2. Terry will be 37, that is too old. He got caught out a few times being off the pace last season and hell only be getting slower. From what I recall we only ever played axel at right back where he didn't look great but he is a centre back, he is highly rated by man utd so over the course of a season I'd be confident he would be more than good enough. Axel doesn't need to be paid 60k a week either.

  4. I would say consistantly good, not great. We benifited more from what he did off the field than what he did on imo. I think it would be bad business to go with him again, a year older, even if it's on a lower contract. Much rather see someone younger come in and try albeit on loan. Axel hardly featured so we never really got to see how good he actually is, he can't be that bad if he's still on utd books.
  5. I wouldn't be to bothered to be honest, he was good but not as good as James Chester, I'd much rather us get axel back from utd on loan and play him at cb than go with JT again.
  6. Nearly 3 weeks this argument has gone on for now. Think we all need to take a break and move on from it, just going round in circles!
  7. What does promotion have to do with anything. We are talking about goals scored and performances
  8. I don't understand how you're coming to these conclusions.
  9. I've not compared him with Bruce though? My post was originally about how Bielsa is not as good as people seem to think, people are going on like he's this tactical god because pep guadiola recommended him. I'm just trying to point out he's actually not all that good. If I were to pick between the two though I'd pick Bruce all day mainly because beilsa just leaves whenever he fancies and has never managed in the Championship.
  10. Hardly scary is it. Over 46 games; Only 3 teams finished above us Only 2 teams had better goal difference (wolves Fulham) Only 2 teams scored more than us (wolves Fulham) Only 2 teams conceded less (wolves Cardiff) When you have one of the best defenses in the league you only need to score once to win most the time, the fact you've tried use that against us is just daft.
  11. You're far from clear. I like how you've ignored all the other points I came up with to show how overrated he is and gone straight with this part but what I was getting at was he only played 2 good teams in that tournament and got beat by both, it was also a round 16 game in South Africa.
  12. Terrible wasn't they. Another bad thing about relying on kids is it only takes one bad game and their confidence is gone, just look at Davies. You need to find a good blend of young and old for it to work. We do have some youngens who look as though they can become very good players but chances majority of them won't be good enough and only one or two will actually play a fair amount of games for us.
  13. Kodjia is good but not sure he's £15 million good and jedi is another good one, forgot RDM signed him tbf
  14. Yeah, was probably the only good thing RDM did at the club in signing Chester.
  15. 60% win record at Argentina but failed to get out the group stages of the world cup which including losing to England. Won the Olympics but I don't think anyone cares about that as a tournament so not as remotely impressive as it sounds. With Chile lost to Spain beat Switzerland and Honduras to get out their group but then lost against Brazil 3-0 in round 16, again hardly impressive. Finished fourth with Marseille, nothing special. Walked out on them after losing his opening game the next season though. Not sure why you have a big obsession with him but he's walked out on a few clubs when things haven't gone his way, the last thing we would need is a manager who has the potential to just get up and leave when things don't go his way. Also if he was as good as you and pep guadiola keep making out he'd be in a job and not be going for job interviews with clubs like Leeds utd.
  16. Hopefully the fact he doesn't get one after been here for over 10 years will make him realise what a waste of space he became and how he threw away a great career, but it's gabby so he probably won't care.
  17. If you are a professional footballer you want to have the best career possible and in order to do that you want to be playing in the highest league. Should not be held back by a club just because you support them.
  18. Do you not think we need a safe pair of hands now over some overrated lunatic who just ups and leaves as and when?
  19. Surely the fact Leeds want Bruce ahead of Bielsa tells you something? And how can he even be considered a good manager? Done nothing for about 30 years now, just a "character" I suppose it's what most fans want now, a manager who runs up and down touchline shouting orders trying to play attacking footbal.
  20. We was heading the same way as Sunderland until he came in how can people not see that. He spent money rebuilding an awful, awful side and turned us around into promotion contenders, we could have gone up, we was so close so it's not failing miserably. I can understand fans wanting him out for reasons even though I don't agree with them but to say it was failing miserably is completely incorrect.
  21. He went for 3.5 because of a relegation clause, he's worth a lot more than that.
  22. Failed miserably lol Failing miserably would have been getting relegated 1st season like what we was heading for when he came in but he turned it around. Then you could say failing miserably would have been mid table finish with no push for play offs. We got to a play off final and lost by 1 goal, that's it.
  23. You do know Dean Smith literally takes the training sessions and that's about it? Pretty much everything else is done through other people, pretty sure someone mentions a few pages back some of the substitions wasn't even down to him.
  24. Did we sell him for 7 or something daft? Easily worth 10 plus at the time, be looking around the 25 million mark now if anyone wanted him
