I can honestly see where you're coming from, tuesday against QPR was completely inexcusable but today i felt there was a lot of factors and ultimately we were unlucky not to get anything. i can't see any of the teams in play offs beating us over 2 legs and the result against wolves proves we can do it in a big game so no reason we couldn't win at wembley. We do need to stay behind the manager and his team though.

players let him down today. their keeper made some great saves and grabban missed an absolute sitter. defending on the goal absolutely terrible i was pretty baffled at putting all four strikers on as well though! Still confident we will go up.

No it doesn't. you don't like him, i get that but when you defend like this, miss chances like we have and our best players not performing thats not the managers fault.

players have to take a lot of blame for today, absolute terrible performances. still can't believe the defending for the goal. grealish seems to be the only one who looks like hes here to win.

yeah, came second i think. i wouldn't have called him an experienced championship manager though. part of the reason how we ended up in the relegation zone with him...

leeds change their manager every 5 minutes and that hasn't worked... personally i think we should keep bruce regardless i think he's done a really good job with us, i always thought these next few years would be about stability. both clubs you mentioned both got relegated from this division, sunderland are going down again, it's not an easy division and i feel with someone else in charge who doesn't know the league in and out it would be a lot worse. just look back to where we were with di matteo...

I'm not moaning, just trying to point out we don't need to worry so much at first sign of trouble like a lot of our fans seem to do. Chill out.

so using the logic of a lot of our own fans, Fulhams season is over they've bottled it by not beating QPR at home. won't stand a chance in the play offs because they haven't beaten QPR. what a disaster.

And the clubs that will come down this year will be a lot better than Sunderland and hull who we got last year.

I'm more concerned with the fact that if we don't go up this season we won't for a long time. The clubs that's came down were awful this year bar boro who started bad, next season we will have less money due to ffp and some of the potential sides to come down will be pretty much certs to go back up. We cannot afford another performance like that again this season.

sometimes a goal is needed to wake a team up, hopefully thats the case here. if not this will be a massive opportunity wasted

I've gone off benteke since he took that penalty of the Palace midfielder in the last minute and then missed, shows he's more about himself than the team. The fact his wages will be in the 90k area and his goalscoring record has gone pants doesn't help either. Would rather give kodjia a chance.

Whilst it's highly unlikely they'll get anything there's probably not been a better time to play wolves so you never know!

Nice to see people finally giving Bruce the credit he deserves, turning this absolute mess of a club around was never going to be easy and we could have so easily ended up like Hull or Sunderland. It's a massive task and he's performing brilliantly in my eyes. It's been about 7 years since I've actually looked forward to watching the villa again thank you Brucey!

They play 6 teams involved in a relaation battle, 2 teams in the play offs and Cardiff. They all have something to play for don't think any games from now on in will be easy

They play Hull weekend, absolute massive game for them. Lose that and Hull will be out of reach for sure. Reading are down there too but all those sides have a game in hand on Birmingham. If they do go down I think that will be the end of them. Cannot see any form of recovery from that, Harry got some players on some hefty wages their best player is on loan and the owners clearly aren't interested.

Had a little winner earlier with Cardiff, Fulham, boro, Burnley, Everton, Chelsea Cashed out for £450 before Chelsea kicked off just so I could sit back and enjoy the villa game. Would have won 618 if I had waited but I'm not going to complain!

Even if we don't make top 2 a result like this gives me confidence we could get through play offs.
