    Got away with that one. Awful team selection as far as I'm concerned. Id play the u12s against Yeovil now and concentrate on our next league game, looking forward to seeing a cb come in on loan as well!

    Really hope it's a back 3 with axel and two wing backs and not axel at rb otherwise that defence is a complete mess.

    To be fair, he is shite. I'm not even bothered and it also shows the standard Birmingham are at loaning players from us who can't get close to our starting 11.

    This is the real reason, people seem to just think we can put our youth players in because they are excellent at youth level. Doesn't work like that at all, the fact is if they were ready to play Bruce would play them. He will want to win every game possible and wouldn't be ignoring players that are good enough because of their age. Remember when Bruce gave youth a chance against Peterborough and they beat us, then everyone slated Bruce.

    True I thought we was going to do really well, we was supposed to be getting adebayor and all, so glad we never. Just imagine him on 100k a week 5 year deal and not playing for 4 years.

    I'd take the 25 million and the signings we can make with it rather than keeping grealish.

    I think you're wrong mate. We are far from a crap championship club, as for the manager he's the only one who's got anything half decent out of grealish so I'd imagine he's grateful to have him as a manager. Not many English sides would be able to keep hold of their players if spurs came in for them.

    If we've got In 2 gks, axel, mcginn, Bryan and potentially 2 more players for the money we get for grealish then I think that'll be good business for us, especially as a lot of us thought we was going to sell him just to keep afloat

    Had a great free kick on him though! There's a massive gap in the leagues if youre comparing both top flight divisions but championship is pretty similar to the spl.

    Very highly rated within the spl, I know celtic were chasing him. I'd say spl and championship are a similar standard so could be a really good signing for us. Going into the last year of his contract so should also be very good price we can get him at.

    Far to easy of a goal that, hopefully they continue defending set plays like that all game. An assist for grealish as well, decent.

    Bree - axel - Chester - Bryan That's potentially a great back line. I'd want another decent cb if we going with 2 wingbacks and 3 cbs though.

    We was second for about a week so was never really ours to lose. It was Cardiffs to lose all season. And we made the play offs comftably, even had chance to rest players for last couple of games.

    A lot more to do with the players. Senior defenders caught ball watching for the goal. Jack grealish who so many people rate as a 50 million pound player with no end product after his little runs as per. Adomah poor, Grabban poor, hogan poor. We even played against ten men and still couldn't break them down. Bruce will take some responsibility for the defeat but you can't blame it solely on him.

    Nothing to do with style of play, you could play with 10 men behind the ball for 90 minutes and still score 5 past Rotherham, absolute dreadful side, they'll finish bottom again this year.

    I'd say so but he was also responsible for lescott and Richards potentially two of our worst ever signings.

    Or maybe they just aren't quite ready yet, maybe they'll see it as a challenge to try and earn a vacant shirt number. Youth players need motivation like that, can't just hand them a squad number because they might turn out alright In a few years.

    We always seem to pay over the odds for players but when it comes to selling I don't think we ever get more than we should. Benteke, milner, Barry, young all went for decent fees but I still wouldn't class them as being well above what they were worth. I'll be so pissed off again if we don't rinse spurs for this transfer.

    To be fair Liverpool do actually have some really good lads coming through their youth system at the minute and one of the highest rated is Woodburn. I'd be more than happy to take him on here for the season.

    There's no way bree is on 25k a week surely!? Hogan yes, overpaid but I think we all thought he was gonna be worth that when he signed, the other players on high contracts, Terry, jedi, whelan imo all proved useful. I think the main problem what hurt us would have been signing the likes of tish, mcormack (and his daft wages) whilst also having players like Richards and gabby on the books with Extortionate wages.
