  1. Let's hope its not the ones we had last year. Must have spent most of the time on the beach in the South of France because they certainly weren't scouting.
  2. Most of the games i've seen you could stick a pole in the ground and hope the ball bounces off it to better effect.
  3. Read the other day. "N'Zogbia nightmare soon to end". Poor lad on £65,000 a week and not playing, must be torture. I expect he thinks he is worth more. Cheerio laddie!
  4. I said it in January and it's even more applicable now. Play the young lads that are coming through they need a bit of experience and we might find a few good enough for next season. There is nothing to lose and the young lads have nothing to lose. A few might have a good game if they get beaten by a few goals well what difference would that make to what is happening week in and week out with the first team.
  5. No idea why Kevin Macdonald didn't get the nod. I've alot more time for him than Black.
  6. Whatever happens we will always be The Mighty!. And the Pride of the Midlands!. Never stop believing!
  7. More time on Sky News about Gary Neville than Villa. Sad that a failed manager and grating on United loving commentator is more important than the once mighty Villa.
  8. Dr Jozef Venglos would be available, he is getting on a bit, but has experience managing in England.
  9. Neail Warnock is good at getting teams out the Championship. Just need to sack him once promoted.
  10. I'm not going to judge a young lad on 1 game. I'm all for bringing in the youngsters now and giving them some experience we might need next year. To be honest I though Benteke was useless after his first performance.
  11. Agree entirely. The club is a shambles and the board appointments are the first step in the right direction. Get rid of the tool who owns the club and knows nothing about "soccer" and get a sensible head back in charge with a bit of cash and replace the whole scouting division (Most of whom must have spent the time holidaying in the south of France. Ramp up Kevin Macdonalds influence in the youth/reserve and first team set up and lets get back on track.
  12. Two sides struggling for form i'd say
  13. According to BBC Sport Brian Little has been appointed to the board along with David Bernstein. A step in the right direction at least Little cares about Villa.
  14. Totally agree. Maybe its because they threw away so much on a bunch of s***e players form Franch and are playing themselves loads to deliver j**k S**t!!!!
  15. Get rid of Gay or whatever he is called and Vertout useless. But would agree on paper we look good enough to stay up. I think Amavi was decent, little dodgy defending but in the Championship would cause problems. We need a new Keeper and at least one in the midfield. If we can keep the rest we would be ok. I would keep Gabby as though past his best, (not that we have played to his limited strengths) He would be a problem for teams in the Championship). We do need some more decent strikers though. We bounced back last time we were down here but i'm sure we had a certain player for £200,000 from Crewe called David Platt and goodness knows we need another similar (last few seasons it was Benteke).
  16. Another clueless tool who mainly runs about delivery nothing.
  17. Personally couldn't give a monkeys if he left. I've watched matches and didn't know he was playing. You can run about like a headless chicken for 90 minutes but do nothing. Au Revoir
  18. Agree. The reality is Remi has been hung out to dry, the promises clearly made by the board when they approached him have been shown to be a pack of lies. The main problem is that he doesn't seem to be able to make any difference when the chips are down, and I don't think he can get us out of the Championship (at least not in the direction we want to get out). The only positive light is if someone (anyone) will come and buy the club we aren't in debt and don't have a massive wage bill.
  19. Well according to Remi, mentality is more important than tactics. So if you want to pay me £20,000+ a week, mentally i'll be feeling great. So i'm up for the challenge next week, anyone else?
  20. May as well give some of the fans a run out next week. Won't do any worse but at least they will give it a go. f-ing disgrace
  21. May as well give some of the fans a run out next week. They aren't going to do any worse and lets face it at least they will try. It's rapidly gone from being a dreadful season into us being the laughing stock of the country. Very few clubs have had such a dreadful season in the Premier league and no so called big team. It's a disgrace from top to bottom. We'll be lucky to stay up in the Championship!!!
  22. I said in January they should get rid of those that don't want to fight and give some of the young lads ago. I stick by this. We would still be in the same position but at least we would know which of the youngsters has potential and a few games in the Premier would have been a real help for them in the Championship. Whatever happened to all our Youth Academy?
  23. I think Garde is the best manager since MON. Sherwood was a chancer and a clown (to quote another member). What a suprise he managed to motivate Grealish. I think he might have got stitched up with the summer transfers but to be honest who would take his opinion seriously and he likes to blame others for his own failings. I like Garde and I think he has done the best he can. In any other time he might have been able to build something, but he needs years. He has been stitched up and you can see he is fed up. When we go down, the problem I have with Garde is on a number of occasions when things have been going wrong he hasn't changed things tactically. With the money (or lack of it being invested) we need people who can make a silk purse out of a sows ear to get us out of the championship. Remi isn't the one.
  24. To be honest most weeks if he wasn't on the pitch it wouldn't make any difference. It's nice he runs about and puts an effort in. But there are 35,000 fans who would be happy to do the same for far less than he is paid. I'm free this weekend, i'll be happy to run about for 90 minutes for free. I will make sure my phone is safe on my drive home so I don't accidentally tweet any photos of cars I own or might buy as well.
  25. He was obviously picking it up today, so he was trying get subbed so he could get to the Merc garage befoe they closed at 4. To be honest he may as well have gone at 2 today because his contribution was nonexistent.
