I was impressed with Senderos first game. Against Newcastle I thought it was an ok performance but we got a bit lucky as Newcastle missed some good chances.

It wont last. United are throwing money at the problem and it will probably turn out ok for them in the end. I can see another couple of seasons of them being out of the title race but before we know it they will be back at the top. I said a few years ago they would eventually be left behind by Chelsea and City. While the others were spending ridiculous sums every year Man U were adding one or two players and spending nowhere near as much. The result now is way to much of a rebuild needed in one go.

I think fans do tend to find a scapegoat that can do nothing right unless becomes the best player on the pitch every week. Examples are Hutton, Petrov, Bannan, and the latest one is Gabby.

How can we tell that unless he is actually give a chance? With the top two currently performing so poorly what is the harm in giving a player a chance for more than 15 minutes to show what he can offer? A defeat maybe? Every point is crucial. Does this mean if Vlaar has a couple of bad games we should chuck in Baker?If Vlaar has a couple of bad games, we have Baker or Clarke, a pretty scary option. If Gabby or Weiman have the same we have a proven goalscorer with over a hundred premiership goals. Hardly the same scenario. At the moment Weiman is playing poorly , Gabby has been awful for a long time. Bent is absolutely worth persevering with, at least until Benteke returns. But he is no longer that player is he? The last time he was half decent was 3 seasons ago. Yes he only gets a few minutes here and there so it's hard to judge but he looks totally off the pace. Lambert must see this in training and also see that starting him could potentially reduce us to 10 men for a half.

Even though Gabby was poor today I think if Bent had played fans would have been even more annoyed. Drop Gabby and maybe stick Weimann up top. But straight swap for Bent. No thanks.

EPOC is excess post exercise oxygen consumption. In the fat burning context its basically the elevation of your BMR for a period after intense exercise. Eating before HIT increases the size of this elevation. HIT in a fasted state not only results in lower EPOC, it also hinders your performance when doing the exercise. But wouldn't the majority of calories burned be just the carbs from the food you ate? I'm just thinking from a purely fat loss perspective? I mean how much food are we talking, what type and how long before a session of let says 20 min sprints?

Unlike Russia we have a significant black population and a history of slave-trading and African colonialism. Surely if this scandal tells us anything it is that the British are still in no position to judge other nations on their racism. Britain is probably the most inclusive and racially tolerant society in the world. You only have to ask the number of people from different races and religions that live here that question. Yes, there are still some racist idiots in this country but by and large, they are thankfully the vast minority. Gabby looks poor but still offers more than Bent. I'd prefer neither of them played if possible.
