I love the respect this man has for words , never superfluous always measured , and I think he truly believes that no virtue has it's reward like patience . He strikes me as a man who doesn't suffer fools , hence bye bye Gabby . I remember Saunders getting pelters when the likes of Gray and Gidman were shown the door , but in the end he was proven right because how do you harness talent without self - discipline ? Remember going there with McDonald in charge ,and feeling a tad optimistic , all of a sudden Carew misses niot just the net but the whole bloody stadium and we get the proverbial stuffing . You could say , that was the beginning of what we are seeing today .

I dont get it. ALL our players have been abysmal, why do Charles get so much more stick than other players? Is there a vendetta going on here? Charles played well, he is also one of the few players that if we can get him fit, whether you like it or not, can be a game changer. Start backing our players ffs, this is not the time for booing them and make them lose self confidence. Okay I take it al back , the man is world class .

if I was Gestede I"d start packing my suitcase for a trip back to the championship . Clearly not suited to this managers ideas of how the game should be played , and lbh you need a lot more than ariel ability to succeed at this level .
