What a load of boll***s! A couple of defeats and this reactionary rubbish starts. The six games previous we were dominating good sides and scoring goals for fun. The reason we lost against Leeds was having a make shift defence with players playing out of position. Two or three signings and we are good to go.

Id like to see O'hare replace Grealish for the Leeds game. Due to the weather conditions and physicality of Stoke, i don't think last week's game was the right time. Against Leeds, who press high, a player who has good technical ability to get out of tight spaces will benefit the team. -
This might be for tax reasons, as directors can reduce their income tax liability by drawing from their own company as it is a lower rate to do so.

We are 4 points better off than fulham were at the same stage last season. Incidentally the 23rd game was the start of their long unbeaten run that lasted until the final day of the season. To get top 2 we can't afford to drop any more then 17 points for the remainder of the campaign. Tough ask, but still possible... Just!

Don't forget that the first 12 games were largely against lower half teams.

I think the conditions had a big part to play. Stoke aren't really a footballing side so it probably suited them a lot more than us. It made for a very scrappy game which is what stoke wanted.

If you keep the same tactics every week, sometimes it will work and other times you will come up against a team who sets up to nullify it. That's why bruce was so inconsistent. As smith changes his tactics based on the next opponent, it is more likely to give us consistency.

Seeing as we are using Fulham as our yardstick, after 22 games they had 29 points and were in 12.They didn't lose again until the last day of the season. No pressure!
