    Not ITK. But have it on good authority we want 5 more signings. No idea on who or positions etc.

    Some really good players have had non league loan moves. I used to watch Tamworth most weeks and they’ve had the likes of Callum Wilson, George Baldock and Danny Ward on loan and have all gone on to have very good careers.

    I think we’re playing the long game with JWP and will review him next summer depending on where Southampton finish to see if we can re-negotiate and drive the price down. They are going to struggle this season and be amongst the bottom 5 you’d expect. Docoure or a similar type of player is who we will sign this window.

    I think Smith is true in saying we won’t be signing anyone else, as it stands. We will only make signings when we have shifted players out the door. He did touch on quite a few leaving out on loan, which I imagine to be Guilbert, Hourihane and Wesley.

    I agree with this. We shouldn’t shoehorn in all our attacking players and change shape just to accommodate. I posted in the transfer thread but this is the same as I’d play, but ideally with a strong player in there over McGinn that can keep the ball like JWP.

    I reckon our business will be done a bit later in the window after a couple more players are off the books (Guilbert, Hourihane, Wesley). But we need at least 2 central midfielders - ideally for me JWP and Sarr/Doucoure. It would be nice if we could get some good money for AEG and replace him with someone better but imagine that will be next summer, same goes for Nakamba.

    Agreed on central midfield especially. But with SJM, Sanson, Luiz, Nakamba and Ramsey as our first team options for next season, do you think we’d have to move on at least one of them to make room for 2 more as that would be 7 centre mids?

    17 goals and 7 assists in 34 Championship games last season. If the price is right and around the £15m mark he’s a no brainer for me.

    JWP and Kamada would be a dream. I wanted a defensive midfielder as well but Nakamba seems a different player and deserves a go.

    Imagine the sponsorship deals he’ll get from the likes of Nike by joining City. I support Villa but if I was in his position I’d do it in a heart beat and earn tens of millions each year.

    We’re in the same camp. Watching the clips of Buendia on YouTube when we signed him, Cantwell was involved in a lot of it. Last year of his contact and for £15-20m or so we could do a lot worse.

    I’d take him on loan with an option to buy, but only if we’re still after someone like Bailey in addition.

    I’ve been playing Old School RuneScape a couple of years since it was released in 2014. Does anyone else play?

    I’d love to see us in for Chris Mepham, Rico Henry, Rashica and someone like Guendouzi on loan with an option to buy, though not sure if he has the personality DS likes. Can see Guilbert, Engels, Jota, Nyland, Samatta and Kalinic moving on and also Taylor and Lansbury if anyone puts an offer in.
