  1. If anyone was to buy Grealish in the next window the realistic fee would be £120m+. He just signed a new contract, he ain't going anywhere, at least in England. If however a Juve, Real, Bayern or Barca came knocking, who knows.
  2. That would have been very exciting.
  3. Of course Mount was excellent, he is an excellent player that should be starting for England. The problem is that position will be given to Declan Rice come the Euros.
  4. Surely if he tests negative he doesn't have to?
  5. Sterling and Grealish should be our wide forwards, I can't see a single reasonable argument to think otherwise.
  6. I listened to BBC WM today on Mings and my reaction was "don't say that, why does it matter what race they are". Obviously, easily getting cought up in unnecessary opinion without quotes or details. But after actually listening to Mings I 100% agree with what he was saying. Very poor from the BBC. Especially from a place that likes to "fact check" everything these days. I guess that's what media does these days.

    Liverpool

I look at teams like Bayern and how they can drop Lewandowski, Muller and Kimmich and yet they are still a great force and play the same football. Honestly, while it's unfortunate for Liverpool, surely this goes back to squad depth that maybe they just don't have. And if they don't, why didn't they address this in the summer.
  8. A smaller less relevant team will always pick a fight with the bigger club, simple as. I thought that they might concentrate on their actuall local rivals wolves, but maybe we are too big of a pull for them not to get annoyed about.
  9. Pickford doesn't save a lot so I wouldn't necessarily describe him as defensive lol
  10. Good to see Bellingham getting a call up. All he has to do is break through into a team of a back 7 including superstars such as Declan Rice. Good Luck Jude!
  11. get him on loan to the championship with a clause of a call back While I appreciate our coaches would like to work on him personally, I can't see him getting match fit any other way, unless he plays in u23s
  12. don't forget the cheerleaders and plenty of Gatorade
  13. The thing I like about Villa most this season is that when we lost 0-3, not at one point did I dread going to play them again. Villa are playing well and Leeds are simply not scary.
  14. Just because nobody saw it to start with (which is a guess, for all we know many people might have done) doesn't mean it's not an offside. Listen, I don't like it. He wouldn't have saved it. In my personal opinion, he saw the ball and reacted by turning his body to see it off. But unfortunately Barkley was offside, and that's that. He was standing behind the last defender in the line of sight of the keeper. Simples.
  15. Ian Wright was saying the same thing, arguing it has no affect on others. Well, that is not entirely true. Lets say Man City have 5 subs on Wednesday against Chelsea, rest 2 extra players with 20 minutes to go so that they are fresher for the Sunday fixture against Brighton. We can't have one set of rules for some teams and other rules for others. Also, if you are struggling to fill your squad with 2/3 youngsters that you can throw in with 15 minutes to go, maybe, just maybe, you are not the best team in Europe after all.
  16. He honestly seems likes the least controversial, almost boring kind of guy. I get the football rivalry between teams, but this doesn't add up.
  17. And such a Villa thing to win 4 games in a row and lose the next 3.
  18. Will Martinez celebrate when he scores?
  19. Before you mentioned Everton I thought you were gonna say Leeds
  20. I think next season will see the media cry for a push for European Football once they are established in the PL and with great expectations. After they finish 14th that season, no one will give a shit about them then.
  21. The point re 6th is that, statistically over the last 100 games you can make an argument that Man United are heading for a top 6 finish. I didn't say they are aiming for 6th (top 6 is also 2nd or 3rd) but that statistically their results indicate they will win majority of their games which will result in a top 6 finish. Therefore, statistics aren't to be discarded, it's how you use them and what you use them for. Just because I have 2 legs and my dog has 4 doesn't mean that we both have an average of 3 legs.
