I completely see where PussEKatt is coming from, relative to South America or somewhere like the Philippines our prisoners are living in luxury, maybe too much for some people but all it does it perpetuate the cycle of violence in these countries which then spills out into wider society.

Certainly looks like him. Cant imagine they can do this justice in 2023 to be honest, a film that was very much of its time.

I had other plans thankfully on Saturday so was only able to check the score periodically. Teams like villa will lose these types of games, you really can’t take too much from it. We all knew that a couple of big signings were needed to continue the form and keep up the good will feeling. Lose heavy against Man City and you’ll feel like the honeymoon period is over and we’ll see where we really are at with the team. I suspect 11 or 12th place come the end of the season. We’re still 2 quality players away from the top half of the table with or without Emery.

I would have thought that a team pressing very high is what you want when playing out from the back because you are going to expose them at the back if you manage to play through it.

You can make the punishment as severe as you want but it’s not going to resolve the root cause of the problem. Similar problem to the war on drugs, it’s unwinnable and making the punishments even more severe doesn’t really solve anything, you could argue it makes things worse because people who are willing to speak up and admit they have a problem become even more reluctant to do so.

Started to get excited about the season now. 2-3 weeks to Drive to survive and then first testing Last year was a bit of a damp squib compared to the previous. Hoping this is a better year and its a lot closer. Early predictions are that Ferrari drop away slightly, Merc improve to take their spot and Red Bull are still the team to beat. Hoping someone in the midfield takes a step forward but struggling to see who it is. Alpine to be the best of rest this year. Russell to beat Hamilton again this year as well.

Exactly. They might be protecting the transfer fee value but like you say, if it doesn't work out after a year and they have an attitude problem (where's the motivation to perform every week) you've got a 200 grand a week problem on your hands for 7 years.

Yeah not the worst film but got caught between ideas and in the end didn’t execute any of them too well. 6/10 for me.

Think the hysteria over it is ridiculous to be honest. He's a retired boxer, its totally up to him if he wants to do a few lines while partying. He's not exactly glorifying it, someone filmed it and put it out without his consent. Why do we keep up this constant narrative that it isn't rife in sports, politics and throughout the general public. Thought the obligatory boxer combo at the end was funny though.

You People on Netflix was ok because i like Jonah Hill but its so woke its untrue. Watched Sick which is a low budget film and didn't get into that at all.

Its incredible that picture contains an entire Villa 11 and i don't feel a connection a single one of them. There's a couple of decent players there but not one of them showed an ounce of it for Villa,. I still don't like Micah Richards because of it even though he seems to be pundit #1 these days.

Auba - absolute not Ziyech - absolutely yes but why would he leave chelsea when hes still actively playing for them, not like hes been frozen out With regards to making no signings that would be madness imo. We wont make Europe this year but we need to kick on from this honey moon period we are currently in. No way we keep up this win rate unless we freshen up the squad.

I still play this at least 3-4 times a week, hard to imagine a time when i dont. Not much of a gamer these days but still love a bit of rocket league while listening to podcasts.

We'll be lucky to finish 11th this season imo. How many more 25-30 million pound players do we need before this is achievable? West Ham have spent a fortune in the summer and arguably look worse for it. Sometimes its the right combo of players to get a solid foundation that is most needed, we haven't had that since O Neil left.

If he was a 10 million pound signing you might be more forgiving for the massive swings in his performances. 25 Million for the Bailey we have seen so far is a rip-off in my eyes. Traore was better for my money.

Slightly disappointed he hasn't kicked on. Not a great defender or attacker at the moment. Thought Gerrard's awful system was hampering him for a while but not sure what to think now.
