    What a player we have here. He's so important to our season, I'm petrified of him getting injured.

    Brilliant today. Works so hard but has lovely technique also. Will only get better I think as season goes on and finally become player we expected when he joined.

    Yes they work well together as a 3. Westwood seems disciplined in sitting deep and breaking up play. Barry can play accurate quick balls forward or into flanks. Ireland can link up with forwards and is able to carry the ball. 4-3-3 is def the best formation with the players we have.

    At least not getting relegated will be a pleasant surprise if it happens. Actually I think we'll be fine, just going through a bad patch and confidence is low. Will prob get worse before it gets better though.

    Needs way too much time for this level. How many times does his touch let the ball get away from him. I would play Herd, Bannan and Ireland ahead of this guy. Actually I don't think we have 2 midfielders good enough not to need 3 of them in there. Herd, KEA and Ireland for me.

    He was clearly fired up. Bent could sometimes do with getting nastier and being more aggressive in his play. Good management from PL. Let's see him kick on from here. Albie's return and Zog's glimmer of form should also help Dazzler.

    I think you support the wrong team TBH. All you ever do is post negativity. You'd be better off with City or Chelsea if you want to see world class players week in week out. If you can't see the improvement under Lambert then you're either blind, trolling or have never seen footy before. We had something like 16 chances today. How is that not creative?

    Competition for keeper spots is really important. Look what has happened to Reina at Liverpool. Look at what Fergie is doing with De Gea and Lindergard. Whether conscious or unconscious lack of competition often leads to a malaise and drop in performance.

    If Bannan gives the ball away people automatically accuse him of attempting 'Hollywood passes' For me he showed what I continue to believe which is that the lad has the ability to make it at this level.

    I can't help worrying that we haven't supplemented these players with one or two with Premier League experience. Whatever happens its going to be fascinating. Let's hope we've got enough this season whilst the squad develops and gels.
